well i cant get the rulebook cuz theres nothing around me i can get to that sells it, i would have it already if there was a place and i wouldnt be so desperate for answers, but i really truely want to get into the hobby it seems amazing, but i'm the type of person who asks alot of questions and yes most may be repeats but for dif armys but im just trying to see what army i wanna go with, and im sorry if im annoying but if i am y answer to the thread? i really dont get that, im trying not to ask dumb questions, sorrt if i am

Well you have the internet.... you can always buy the stuff (like the rulebook) online. But if you dont have anything around you, how are you going to play games of 40k? Do you also have friends who are into the hobby? Why not try asking them?

Because maybe if enough people point out to you that you're not going to learn the game by asking questions on a forum it might start to actually sink in?

The rulebook is 400 pages, and about a third of that is the rules of the game. Asking random questions on the web is not going to get you any sort of complete view of how to play the game... and teaching you how to play the game because you don't have a rulebook is simply not what the forum is for. It would be an exercise in futility for both parties involved.


Sorry if that comes across a little harsh. It's great to see someone excited about the game. But it really just sounds liek you're setting yourself up for constant frustration by going about it the way you are.

Trust me, Orks can shoot. Now a single Ork wont hit squat, but his 20+ other buddies certainly will. We make up for it in volume of shots. Ive blown entire units off the table in a shooting phase with just shootas. So it can and does, get done.

You could. At low-ish points its a workable build.

Dakkajet rules are in a White Dwarf magazine, not the codex, though. Might be hard to get ahold of.

atleast get the rulebook there is an entire section with a bit of the factions background there.
altho im not sure if the tau are in there i will need to recheck on that.

You can get the rules for the DAKKAjet by googling DAKKAjet rules PDF. Granted, its not exactly legal and all, but if GW wanted to keep up from doing that, they would make it easy for us to get the rules without going to ebay and hoping people on there arnt trying to rape you on price.

pg 103 has Flash Gitz, and others listed on it. If you have those in your heavy support you should be good to go.
