Seriously though, it's not that there's anything wrong with having normal tendencies... It's just that if you indulge them too often you run the risk of them taking over your life! Horror!

I sorted out the prize issue, as well. In order to best reflect the structure of the BAO, we will be doing Best General as the top prize, and Renaissance Man, Best Painted, and Best Sportsman as subsequent placings. So painting = good, but not necessary for victory. Best Sportsman is in there to encourage everyone to play nice,and give Tufflove and BrotherErekose something to fight over!
There will be plenty of other prizes as well, I'm considering the possibility of doing some BAO style 'best-of' awards if we get enough players. And there'll be door prizes and other odds and ends as usual.

Been getting a lot of calls to the shop and in-person interest, so this one should be a blast!

Hmmm... With painting not involved in the top prize I may just have to go on a building spree and finish off my last 70 Zombies ... Ugh, or just play my Necrons .

So being that the camera man, assistant camera man, and all the Grip and Electric department just quite from the film Im on, we arnt going to be filming this weekend. Looks like the orks will be coming after all.

Seriously though, please try to be here early if you're coming; I've been fielding a lot of phone calls and talking to people in the shop a bunch about the event so it looks like we should have a pretty big turnout. I want to make sure everyone gets home at a reasonable time!

I have an unbuilt Aegis, Dok... I suppose I could be finagled into putting it together for you.... Just don't tell me you want a Lascannon instead of a Quad-Gun!

AFAIK nobody has dropped 40k for WM at our store. Ish still plays 40k and he is the only one who is taking WM seriously who hadn't already been playing.
