The R:AL Weekly, the premier publication dedicated to the Armistice League, has started a series of Player statistics for some of the more well known players of the All-Stars.

The first is released today, showing the player in an action pose and contains some of the players career statistics.

First up is Terry Jones, All-Stars Lineman of 3 years.

Another statistics sheet tomorrow!

Don't forget, you can help out by sharing the project to the people you know! If you want to share the pic, just right click on it and select 'copy image URL'! The faster we hit the target, the faster we can offer the stretch goals! ;-)

Cheers
Gavin.

The R:AL Weekly have released another two Lineman statistic sheets today!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I will be releasing details of the stretch goals later this weekend (didn't list them from the start as it seems presumptuous to do it before the target is hit but it seems people want to know...) but the first two are:

Stretch 1 - £6500 : 2 Runner sculpts (1 pack) included in the cost of both team size pledges
Stretch 2 - £7500 : 2 Brute sculpts (1 pack) included in the cost of both team size pledges

You can see sketches of the Runners and the Brutes in the image in the first post above.

hey, easy now - the last models from the Indiegogo campaign are still hitting some backers around this time

@Tor
is 10GBP shipping really the extra cost, internationally? It feels kind of steep, or is it just due to experience from the IGG campaign?

The football style game isn't for everyone. Although ours isn't a board game....

Why not expand the Relics universe through a ks :p

When you say 'expand' do you mean add new factions? We are working on profiles for new factions but we can really only support so many factions at the moment.

The idea of this kickstarter (and the following ones for other teams) is to give us another range that doesn't require monthly releases but will generate sales. From those sales, all profit will be put directly into Relics, allowing us to support a stronger monthly release schedule for it.

Kickstarter doesn't allow for multiple shipping options in the rewards text. And the shipping estimate of the teams is about ~£7 before packaging. We also have to take into account the potential extra weight of the stretch goals, a good few of which will be added for free for the team rewards but increase the weight and size of the package.

If you have some friends who are interesting, do it as a single order and pick one of the multi team rewards as they are still £10 shipping.

We learnt a lot from the IndieGoGo project, the biggest of which was offering world-wide free shipping was a massive mistake. On just about all non EU packages we lost money.

Yeah, I figured something like that. Feels strange on an EU package, but I 'get' harmonizing intl shipping
I'll see about getting some folks in

Thanks! So do we!! We have some good stuff lined up if we do, including the other models and making more linemen sculpts so all teams packs have 100% unique sculpts in them.

Yeah, it was a surprise that I needed to enter shipping rates but can only add one. I will look at what I can do about it as it is a bit high for EU shipping, even if we did hit all the stretch goals. It may be an update on the main page for shipping rates and specifying different rates depending on where you are. EU rates should really be £5-6 max.

yeah,
It is strange that you can only have one shipping rate!
The creaturebox-the-monster-volumehad a chart and you had to add shipping to your pledge based on your location..That makes a little more sense now.

Oh, that'd be great and lots of KS campaigns specify shipping in the FAQ at those rates I'll throw in a pledge for sure.

I've just added the following to the FAQ and will add it to the main text too.

Shipping costs are as follows:

UK: Free

EU: Half the stated shipping on the reward you are choosing.

Outside the EU: The stated value on the reward you are choosing.

aand, pledged

A little addition for your FAQ perhaps:
"when shipping to the EU, click "in the UK" on the pledge screen and pledge GBP 5 extra anyway".
most folk will figure it out but first time KS users might not.

Good idea, added a bit about that.

I will be doing a nice graphic for it tomorrow to go in the main section. Graphics are nicer than text. I like pretty pictures. :-)

My friend loves these, but they won't be done in time for our bloodbowl league in March. Why July delivery with these sculpts basically done?

As Kickstarter say, the estimations are estimations. It's all about managing expectations.

I expect them to be done before, but as we have some good stretch goals lined up that will need sculpting we need to allow for that in the estimation.

If I put March and we didn't deliver until July then people would get pissed at us. If I put July and we deliver July, people are happy. If we deliver earlier, then people are happier!

Will the base team (not stretch goals) be likely to be early then?

Managing expectations is good... but putting it that far out could also lose sales / cause people to wait until they become available...

My question was genuine by the way...

We don't plan on sending rewards in split packaging unless at the end of the project some people want their core teams sooner and wish to pay additional shipping for that.

We learnt a hard lesson from our IndieGoGo project about shipping costs and will not be making that mistake again!!!

Managing expectations is good... but putting it that far out could also lose sales / cause people to wait until they become available...

This isn't meant to sound harsh but I'd rather loose a few pledges and deliver what we can promise than gain those pledges with promises I can't keep. I'd love to say we will be sending stuff out by the end of Feb - and I believe we could - but I will not guarantee it.

My question was genuine by the way...

I had no doubt.

Hmm... well, if you do indeed decide that you will let people pay 2 shipping charges and have the base team shipped earlier, please post here letting us know and I'll pass that info along.

Loving the models but I need to scratch together some funds for this. I already put in too much in Kickstarters this year that I am getting an earful from my CFO (aka the wife). Hopefully before this ends, I will find enough loose change in my furniture.

Well, if it helps..... The project runs over into the New Year, so it will be like starting again and not adding to 'this years spend'

I already dropped that card and it didn't fly. I honestly do not play any of these sports games but the sculpts are so good I have the pokemon fever. Gotta catch'em all!

Yes. I hope to have a copy out tomorrow for people to try out.

They are young still so plenty to shake down but people can get in on the action and help the testing.
