This my first miniature, that was SO large (80 mm tall), but i managed to do it without airbrushing somehow. Don`t know, if i`ll go for it without airbrush again =)

Im most impressed with the base and foliage. the tree looks amazing and the owl tucked under the leaves is a nice touch. The ancient slabs of stone also look excellent...fantastic work

What are the leaves made of?? They look like they might be etched brass but i'm not sure.

you right, it`s ABER mapple leaves wit addition of some other manufacturers. it was really hard to put them on the trees and paint

Flawless painting, brilliant palette choice and very cleverly designed and executed base that is an intricate work of art in its own right but still draws the eye to the central figure.

This is the sort of thing I dearly wish I could do!
Also you must have the patience of a saint to have painted all those individual leaves and stuck them on!

Oh my, may I congratulate you on a extremely well painted, and modeled work of art. May I ask what sort of paint you used on it?

You've done a very good job here. Too good, even. The detail you put into the basing (particularly the runed stone), the leaves, and the elf's clothing are stunning and incredibly intricate. Unfortunately, that contrasts with the elf's skin, which by comparison looks monotone and plastic-y. The plants are so good that they could be real. If you told me that they were actual foliage I would probably buy that. The elf looks good, don't get me wrong. Her hair and eyes are at the same level of greatness that the rest of the piece shows. I think that her skin (while still good, and better than anything I can do) isn't up to the level of quality as the rest of the model. It makes her look like a mannequin. I'm almost loathe to say something, because although I can see the issue (to my mind) I don't know how to fix it.

Still, I don't think it would be an issue in the end. Most people's attention will be on either the leaves/basing or on the nipples rather than the skin tone.

Absolutely freaking flawless work! Man, I love everything about this paintjob. The greens, especially the blue-greens, are lovly and the leather bits look very rich and real. And the embroidery on the hood is insane! What size of brush did you use? And that base...

The model itself is brilliant as well, especially since it's built along the lines of Scarlett Johansson...

My only real issue is the skintone, which looks a little too ruddy, maybe, kinda like a plastic mannequin.

Still, though, you get five stars out of five, easy.
