Hi there,

I am trying to convert some basic Chaos Space Marines to Death Guard and make them look more Nurgle-y. Is there any easy way to make your own power cables and gas mask hoses ?

The only way I can think of is having a thin wire wrapped tightly around another wire or using a guitar string...

Guitar string (as you noted)
Wrapping copper wire around a paper clip (google the tutorial).
Using green stuff with some models about.
Using regular wire (if you want flexible stuff then cable wire wrapped in plastic would probably be best but I'm not sure how you'd set it properly unfortunately).
And those are about the only methods I can think of to do cabling.

This is exactly what you need. A little pricey, but it's the tool that will allow you to make several different sizes of hose and cable for those future conversions!
