Whats your thoughts? These seem to be one of the three most used units in the game.

Now added spawn to the list as well

Now added vendetta, nurgle CSM bikes, and ravenwing

Screamers are the best for the army however the math is on wraiths in a one on one on one fight.

Your also politely missing the valk/vendetta here.

What about the Deffkopta? It's one of my favorite units in the FA slot and they're usually my game MVPs.

was only doing beasts/jumppacks/cavalry style units. No armour.

CSM Spawn? So underrated.

Much as i love TWC i have to say wraiths really, far stronger inv save than demons, higher str gives the edge against vehicles and they rend.

There's a specific difference here.

Spawn and thunderwoofs are good.

Wraiths are too good.

If you play with screamers you should shoot yourself and/or open a cheese factory.

I dont have all the stats off hand, but has anyone mathed it out in assault how each unit does? Surely there is a thread where someone mathed out the major assault units effectiveness.

Screamers. The return on points investment is off the charts.

DE Reaver jet bikes (although some might call that armor)

3+ cover saves when moving flat out. Bladevein attacks that are exceedingly deadly and used while moving flat out. Have I mentioned the 48" total distance moved after moving flat out?

Nurgle or Slaanesh Bikes? Cheap for how awesome they are.

was manily comparing the most commonly used units you can see in a lot of armies now a days in the FA slot.

Maybe it's a Meta thing, but I see chaos bikes more than spawns.

That really doesn't matter, it's still the best FA unit in the game. Not including it while asking "best FA" is silly.

Wraiths wins this one. The sole Necron player in my club has killed more of my Eldar, IG and Chaos Cultist hordes than I care to think about with those infernal things.

Yeah i find it hard to field them and not feel bad which is why i use praetorians instead.

Take SW allies and JoTWW them. I don't find wraiths all that scary. I face them ALL the time. They do take target PRI but they haven't swayed a game yet. I'm talking two 6 wraith units to. Heavy bolters and frag missiles maul them. Volume of saves.

Well I suppose it could be argued either way.....but never the less I waned to know what people thought of actual units not armor.

Most popular units.....Until the new codex comes out I haven't seen a ravenwing unit in ages.

I have a sneaking suspicion you'll be seeing more Ravenwing in the coming months; Hit and Run S5 Rending Black Knights and 100pt two-melta Ravenwing units are two of the options in the new book. The Nephilim is expensive, but murder on aircraft.

This. TWC are good, but they're only really tough once you throw in a TW Lord. Wraiths are crazy on their own.

Aren't Vanguard Veterans also a Fast Option in a Marine book.

Vendetta. This isn't even a question. I hope GW will burn that thing out from the next IG codex. And this comes from a guy who owns 6 Vendettas .

Black Knights, are quite awesome. I expect we will be seeing a ton of those.

The Nephilim however, I predict is going to get one volley off, then be shot down, and it feels to expensive for that. I don't think we will be seeing much of them.
