So, in short, scorceror kills enemy character abd rolls dark apotheosis on the boon table. My questions are:
1: do i keep my psychic powers?
2: do i keep any previously collected boons?
3: if i have a force weapon on the character, is it lost?

You do keep your mark, kinda. You become a Daemon of whatever mark you had.
Yeah, its not great when you roll it on a big bad HQ. But its awsome on a Champion.

Question for this result,
If your Warlord gets turned into a DP or spawn, does the enemy get Slay the Warlord or does the model that replaces the Warlord need to die?

The guy remains the Warlord and his trait. Read the boon results carefully.

Daemon princes CAN be sorcerers not that they are. Not having permission to keep the psychic powers would take them away.

You might want to re-read the boon table because it clearly tells you when you get Slay the Warlord if the warlord transforms.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Spells and wargear are lost.
About Boons we have two ways:
If they are special rules, then they are lost.
If they aren't special rules (thus universal) then they are kept. Automatically Appended Next Post: kaapelikala wrote:Being a Psyker, Psyker levels, Spells and wargear are lost.

If your HQ turns into a Spawn or Daemon Prince because of a Chaos Boon Table roll, the enemy only gets Slay The Warlord after the enemy kills the newly transformed Spawn or Daemon Prince. They remain your Warlord and are transformed with full Wounds, and retain the Mark of Chaos if they become a Spawn, and become Daemons of whatever Chaos god if they become a DP. However if that HQ becomes a Spawn, it loses the Warlord Trait.
In my first new Chaos Codex game, Typhus became a Spawn, my opponent's Tzeentch Sorcerer became a DP, and then one of my Plague Marine champions became a DP after killing an enemy Terminator. That was a glorious game for the Boon Table! And my Nurgle Spawn HQ was tough for the enemy to kill too....

It's worth noting (I just found out today) that daemon princes do not have the champion of chaos rule, and thus never roll on the table unless you purchase a gift as an upgrade, which also forces you to reroll if you get "dark apotheosis".
I wish I'd known that before my level 3 Slaanesh black mace flying daemon prince suddenly became chumpy mc chump bog-standard daemon prince one game.

It doesn't look like they came to a clear consensus. So are the boons "boons" or are the boons "special rules"?
A decent compromise would be to keep stat buffs but lose special rules, but I'd like a definitive answer.
Actually no I wouldn't. Those always go against chaos and in favor of space wolves and orks, so never mind

We came to the conclusion that boons are not special rules and that any boons the give a special rule the character was lost but state buff were kept.
