Nice field research with the crackle medium...I have a pot waiting for future use quite a while...

This is the craft paint variety, we shall see. It's still slightly sticky, even in front of the fan for awhile now.

i even had slight cracky effects happen to my works when using PVA...i bet the medium is almost the same in sustance really...

Nah, it's a clear, sticky stuff, reminds me of corn syrup or something along that line.

granted the substance appears differently but the effect almost is the same... but i bet the medium is more reliably producing cracks...

You get that with PVA when there is a bubble below the paint that hasn't dried/cured.

ouch... (i think i´ve learned a lesson now...)

I think I'm done with Minecraft now. I did something stupid, fell into a room with a lich, got killed, lost all my stuff, including my power armor. I don't even have the equipment to build new batteries for it. completely disheartening.

I know, I'll get no sympathy here right?

gak man I hate when that happens. I have played enough times to know that feel too damn well TT really sorry to hear that. Don't get discouraged but I do understand that it is insanely difficult to build back up to where you were. When we were playing there was an accident and the equivalent of a nuke went off in our alchemy lab. destroyed the lab, the alchemy equipment, the crystal chests, and two of the solar farms I had set up. So much work gone :(

that really sucks! I can borrow other people's Magma crucibles and induction smelters, but on foot, that'll take all weekend, and I just don't want to spend the time right now doing that. If I do go back, The first thing I'll do is build backup power armor. Time to fire up the airbrush. At least that time spent isn't wasted....

Yea you still enjoyed it though, and you will go back one day and play it some more. I wish I could actually be productive this weekend but I either have to work or am dealing with some unnecessary situation. Dave be productive for me

Ooh so pretty. I remember learning how to do that with glue, an airbrush, and a hair dryer. What airbrush do you use or a better question what would you recommend for someone starting out.

I always recommend Badger if you live in the US or UK. made in Chicago (parts are your biggest concern, you WILL bend needles). I have several now, but I use my Badger Sotar 20/20 for almost everything nowadays. For Starting out, I'd recommend the Badger Patriot 105. Whatever you decide, get a gravity feed, dual action. The Sotar has a smaller color cup, I waste less paint that way. Siphon feeders are a Huge mess and waste of paint.

Man, that is totally awesome, Dave. Painting looks great and atmospheric. Walls and ceilings look the part and compliment the broken tile floor. Perfect little two story with lots of utility for so many different games.
