0.0 Feck, $125 for the vinyl of that album on amazon. Don't your record shops carry R.E.M.? I mean the ones here don't always have the widest selection (ie whatever the hipsters are listening to at the moment), but I'll have a look see at some point.
R.E.M. has re-pressed almost all of them EXCEPT Monster, therefore making the original US pressings pretty Rare. I'll happily take a UK or German Pressing (as long as it's in English) and in good shape.
I NEED to hear "What's the Frequency Kenneth" on my turntable. I NEED to Air-guitar around the house with it cranked up to 11

Amazon is good for new 180g. re-pressings, since they undercut the price a bit, but these sat around in bins for years and then BAM they were all gone.

Yeah Max, not valuable for demand really, just valuable because of rarity. Often times, with the new pressings, they give you a copy of the CD and/or free MP3 download of the album for portability.

Ah, I wonder if they had all that back a few years ago if the collectors of records would be in better stead now? There is a difference of listening to records and CD's overall.

They've always made high-end turntables, some costing more than most of our houses. The Vinyl revival is in full swing nowadays though.
