Ok, question on the big TEEF on the front of this thing. Would they be real teeth, or metal/iron sculptures of some kind?

If they are real, what creatures do Da Boyz get them from to be so uniform in size?

I personally always take them as squigoth teeth, but I suppose metal would look cool.

Or horns from defeated daemons that simply aren't hard enough. "So yeah, you korneys iz red, but we iz proper red..."

My first thought would be that they were metal. But "real" horns / big teeth also works.

That's one way to look at it With teef being a wealth and status symbol among Orks though, I see them as more akin to gold rims or a Cadillac badge on the grill of your GMC Yukon.

If you paint them as real then they need some battle damage, drill gunshots into them, if they are metal they need some dings too.

So many little things to paint on these..>I keep finding bits I didn't see before


Oh well, first brown ink wash will need to dry first. Not anywhere near finished with the basecoats yet.
I guess I'll use the drying time to go shovel out last night's fresh 8.5 inches of snow from the driveway before the temp drops down to Hoth levels again.

If I ever did an Ork army I would have to by a ton of those cheap wind up toys that walk and use them for the base of my kans. Then I'd have to learn how far they go per wind up so I could move them in the different phases.

Scratchbuilt Kans would be fun and rather easy to do I think. I would need to source some bigger plastic spheres for the shoulder sockets though.

I can do those spheres..... I have one the right size already.....

Dave I've got a bunch of 1" spheres , they might be 3/4" I'll measure when I wake up I the morning. I got some cheap toys at the thrift store and there were twelve in each pack.
