Chicago won in OT, but man the Wings put up a fight tonight. That was the best they've looked all season so far in my eyes. Chicago was definitely outplayed tonight, Crawford was the only reason they won.

The Hawks could not get out of the box, but they PK'd like champions.
Here is to the Hawks currently undefeated season!

Michalek missed the opening shot, while Spezza and Turris did what they tend to do best, though Turris scared me, the Pitt's goalie caught the puck under his legs, shifted weight, and the puck slide into the goal. But the third shooter for Pittsburgh made the goal :(
Oh well...

What was he thinking?
Maybe a game or two, but it wasn't a case of real abuse of the official. Rather, the 'Couver player was shoving the ref out of the way as he likely thought his teammate was about to get jumped by two Sharks players.
As an on-ice official, you get bumped & thumped by players all the time during the play because you do end up thing their direct path. (and it typically can't be helped either, because your own positioning is more important!)
Give the dude a light token suspension because he shouldn't have laid a finger on the ref, but don't make an example of him.
It's not like he took advantage of the situation and utterly crushed the ref, or tried to hurt him in anyway.
Last time there was a season this short was 94-95. Philly started out slow but fought to finish 2nd in the conference.....
only to lose to the Devils in the conf final.
Not worried about the 2-4 record they currently have.
Simmonds can be a beast but he needs to remember he isn't Dave Schultz. 27 PIM is bad after 6 games.
Rangers tonight, Bryz is the better goalie so Flyers should do ok.
If they can stay out of the box.
They are currently tied for first in PIM with Colorado....at 124.

It'll be a rough game for St. Louis. They'll be on the tail and of back to back games, deep in enemy territory with a team that's just been getting hotter and hotter, and will be well rested.

It should not be anything like that first game.
Joe Lewis Arena is a tough place to play... but, my boyz will be ready for ya!

Go Wild.
They still do not have any losses in the L column!
They have the most points in the league, and they are looking great, they only need like 15 more wins to clinch a playoff berth.
