*sigh* Sens can't seem to get anything really going. They're playing pretty inconsistently. Some of their games have been blowouts, and other times they can't seem to get it done and lose in a shootout.

Bah... Blues down 3-zip agains the Kings.

Looks like Halak isn't playing....

Reinjured himself in practice. The AHL'er was sent home and couldn't be called back in time, so they had to put Elliot back in the net, and he's playing to his usual standards.

He's a not so good goalie who just happened to have a hot year last year. If he always played like he did last year, he wouldn't have been bouncing around the NHL like he has been.

5 game skid. While I'm pleased with this turn of events, it is a bit dissapointing. They still haven't even made a real road trip yet this season. They better figure out how to pull their heads from their third point of contact.

Yep, last two games between the teams will be in the Joe. But I'm talking a real road trip, 4 or 5 games up and down the Pacific Coast type of trip.

More then just the defense. They averaged 7 shots a period. They were outshot by the team with the worst offensive record in the league, until tonight at least.

St. Louis is in a serious funk right now. Getting embarrased by Detroit and Nashville? It's going to happen. Getting embarassed by this years Kings? Yeah... hang your heads in shame.

Got a kick out of this:

Buck, a native St. Louisan whose dad Jack Buck was one of the Blues’ original broadcasters, has season tickets with the team. Once he got on the air, the idea was that he might help change the club’s luck. The Blues, in the midst of a slump, trailed 2-0 at the time.

But it didn’t take long for LA to score with Buck in the booth, alongside regular play-by-play announcer John Kelly and analyst Darren Pang:

“All right, so, uh here’s Carter bringing it out with Kopitar in the middle over to the left wing and … uh … here is a … GOAL scored by 44 ... Drewwwwiske. ... I clearly bring no mojo to the party.”

Reimer's currently injured, so it'll likely be Scrivens in goal and when he stinks, he stinks bad.

Leafs need to start going on their traditional mid to late season massive losing streek... God forbid they make the play-offs - Leafs Nation will almost certainly be trying to parade the Cup up and down Bay Street before the 1st round even gets going!

I don't get to watch the game tonight unfortunately. We don't get NBCSP at work, and it won't be on FSM.

At the start of the season, even a lot of Wings fans were throwing in the towel, saying it was the end of the dynasty. I stuck true to them though. Glad to see my estimations of them have been paying off.

And TooToo gets his first point of the season! We certainly didn't hire him for his puck handling skills.

heh... nice.

Even the NBC announcers are saying the Blues' defense are too passive...

If they don't get their act together, Doug Armstrong (Blues' GM) will be trading someone good/popular to shake things up. The players aren't going to tank it to get rid of Hitch, like they did with the previous two coaches.
