Is that tiny thing off to the right a thunder hawk? As big and detailed as the set is, it still has room to land one of those.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

When I went there last year it was a part of a larger playing area (if I recall, there were other scenery pieces like this) in the centre of the playing area.

My jaw did hit the ground with a substantial thud

What a waste. You can't play a game on that.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

The first time I saw that, I was like "I should build something like that!" But then I started adding up the cost of all that plastic and I was like "No effing way."

Yep, and the truly epic part of that setup is that, somewhere in there, is Jaghatai Khan RIDING ON a Land Raider.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

That reminds me of the scene in LOTR: The Two Towers where Aragorn and Theoden bust out onto the bridge riding their horses. The wall is busted down, the stronghold is being overrun by Uruk hai. But this time it's chaos and the bikes are the horses. All the bikes are riding out into madness, crushing everything in their way, and the whole time Khan is like "FOR THE EMPEROR".

RE: Seige of the Emperor's Palace - You can see Khan in the very middle of the pic under the gate. I remember seeing that one and just being blown out of the water.

This Armies on Parade Winner was also insane:

And the first time, years ago, that I saw the Geiger-inspired Eldar Titan

Why do I get a "you mad, bro?" feel from that Titan?

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

It's not a pic, but it is some pretty epic artwork.
