When I went there last year it was a part of a larger playing area (if I recall, there were other scenery pieces like this) in the centre of the playing area.

That reminds me of the scene in LOTR: The Two Towers where Aragorn and Theoden bust out onto the bridge riding their horses. The wall is busted down, the stronghold is being overrun by Uruk hai. But this time it's chaos and the bikes are the horses. All the bikes are riding out into madness, crushing everything in their way, and the whole time Khan is like "FOR THE EMPEROR".

RE: Seige of the Emperor's Palace - You can see Khan in the very middle of the pic under the gate. I remember seeing that one and just being blown out of the water.
