Hi guys

I need a combi plasma and a combi melta for my space wolves (power armor). Any idea which kit I could get these in? I'm thinking of getting from a bitz site if they dont come in a kit I'm planning on getting.

Thanks a lot

Look at eBay stores and you can buy the bits you need.

The OP said that already. He was asking if they were in any existing GW kits that he would have purchased anyway in building up the army, if not, then onto bits sites.

As stated before, if you want to buy a GW box, the SM Comander is your best choice. However I personnally use combi-weapons from a third party company : http://eurobitz.com/fr/121-warforge

Because buying a SM Captain only for 2 weapons sounds like a waste of money to me. ^^

Builds your bits box, but.

He can also make an extra WG guy out of that kit, as well as getting some useful arms - fists, lightning claws (wolf claws), a cool caped back piece... There are benefits.

What wonderful alliteration~

I'd say go for the Sternguard Weapons set. The picture they use on website is awful, but the weapons themselves look great, I love them. Here they are

They are expensive but they are your best bet if you want to buy them premade. But honestly Dakka has some really good tutorials for making your own combi weps, and they are going to cost you less in the long run if you do it that way but its going to be a little more work.

Best of luck.

Hopefully one day i'll have an army!

I've seen a few people say that they are better in person, and it's just the pic on GW's site that is bad. Do you have or know of a better picture of those bits?

I've used most of the pats on my models now, but I think it's really just the paint job that makes them look pretty naff. The only bad thing is the Lightning Claws which are a tad bent, but nothing you can't fix with a hairdryer and some folded paper. I'll probably be ordering more soon though, so when this thread comes up then (Which it will) I'll make sure I have a decent picture. Unless someone else already has a picture.

I believe the answer is, if you buy a box of blood angels special dandified assault troopers, the pistol-grade hand weapons convert really well onto a bolter.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

check chapterhouse studios they have some good stuff and pretty cheap, another easy conversion is this one, you can use the melta and a boltgun from the tac squad box to make it.

To many unpainted models to count.
