Reecius knocks the dust off his bugs and gets a game in after some time away from playing due to the store being so busy. He faces Captn Dees who is considering running his Biker army as Ravenwing!

Enjoy!

Wow...tough break for the bikes. Without flyrants, the bikers should have had the advantage in this game, but what can you do when the dice isn't on your side?

Gaunts wiping out Black Knights in shooting? Crazy luck indeed! Ravenwing was plagued with bad luck this entire game. They made a small comeback, but it wasn't enough. Even a strong list isn't invulnerable to lady luck.

Congrats on the win and thanks for sharing!

Yeah, when he failed 6 saves on two units in the same round, it was pretty much a wrap. Bad dice are a part of the game, but wow, they were bad this game.

I love battle reports between you Reece and Dan because no matter how one sided the game was you guys still just sit back and laugh about it. I do believe he needs a rematch with at least average rolling to see the actual potential his army has.

I agree totally, his dice abandoned him. He is a seriously good sport though, and always takes it in stride.

Rematch! And tell Dan to bring some new dice.

The only way to mitigate bad dice rolling is to reduce the cost of the models so you can have more opportunities. This DA codex didnt help the RW or DW point costs. For this reason I don't think bikes or deathwing are competitive. Really unfortunate but it is what it is.

Nice game. Bike armies give me fits.

Were the attack bikes assaulting the turn the arrived?

It was an error on their part. In the comments on the video Reece mentions they were pretty much in a "how could this game possibly get turned around at all" mindset.

Yeah, an elite army that craps out on dice, is a dead army. Like you said Ministry, you need bodies to absorb those bad dice.

And thanks Eldarian, we did indeed miss that, but that is because, as you pointed out, Dan and I were both thinking of ways to get him back in the game and we just missed that.
