There are options, that are not settled in the rules, for things like damage, hitting, and troop movements.

By all means, let us let him finish Wave 3 and then badger him to death about the dev. forum.

Hang onto those for now... I want to start fresh with the core rules and work out from them with the development group.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

Woke up this morning to a little slip from the Post Office, thinking it was just a 'too big for your letterbox' one i wasn't too put out. However, it says I've got a customs charge of almost £20! I was wondering if any other UK backers have encountered this and/or if they know how to dispute these charges? Or even if it's worth doing so? I gather it's probably VAT(and Customs' damned £8 handling fee, the thieving ), but given that Dreamforge isn't commercially available in the UK yet i do baulk at paying it.

On the other hand I'm anxious to get my stuff now that it's sitting in my local depot!

Well, good news on your stuff arriving, at least!

Got my "your stuff has shipped" email 6 days ago, (it was sent on the 6th) but apparently it didn't make it out before China closes down completely for the New Year, and now it's obviously just part of a low-priority backlog and won't even leave HK for more than another week. All because they were "held" so they wouldn't arrive here before US backers got theirs. So no chance of seeing them for close to another month, since HK mail still takes at least 2 weeks for a normal sized package.

If they were sent FROM the US, I could expect to see them in hand now, this week or next week.
/sigh

That's my fear aswell, the customs taking a little bit of it all :(. Unfortunately they are within their right to do so. Within the EU they don't do this because of the internal market but seeing as the package comes from the US they can levy taxes on them. ofcourse I do not know the exact composition of the bill but the customs charges you can fight but it'll most likely be useless. THe rest of the bill I can't really comment on since I don't know the exact rules and regulations of the UK.

Just checked my customs number for the umpteenth time and at last got somewhere with it. As of 2 days ago it was in Customs Clearance here in the UK!

Now all I have to do is wait for them to decide how much their pound of flesh will cost me, let me know so I can pay it, and get it delivered to me!

All of a sudden, I don't feel that "Cloud 9" is anywhere near high enough to describe how good I'm feeling.

Funny, I actually wasn't charged customs fees / VAT; used to be that we had it worse in NL than you lot in the UK, seems that's changed now.

Hope, now I have it, though, knowing our customs etc, very small little spark of hope . Ah well, even if I do have to pay, it won't be that much... I hope

Well, a box of 3 leviathans will draw some attention I reckon :( . I will not give up hope just yet (not untill the package arrives with the bill at least anyways). We'll see, not much one can do about it either way so not much point worrying about it I guess

*facepalm*
There goes all hope for my box of four ;-)

Nah, I kind of accepted that I was going to be paying VAT/BTW for this KS. I expect they'll hit me with €65-€70, I just hope they don't want it in cash at the door...

My package has been sitting at customs clearance since Monday afternoon, I'm really curious how long it'll sit there...

They always want cash at delivery
It'll be at the post office for pickup next day, though - that might be more convenient?

Is there any word on how soon these will be able to be ordered from from online stores, especially European ones?

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Stomp rapidly on anyone who goes against him, I reckon! And 4 of them with twin linked mulit-barelled firepower too, that's gotta smart!

Kind of surprised that European customers are seeing their stuff before Canada, my tracking info has been saying that it only just left Utah for the last two weeks, the waiting is killing me!

I do hope Canada Post takes credit cards on door deliveries... otherwise I'd have to dip into the vacation fund... and replace it promptly or incur the rare wrath of my significant other.

Yes, I'm the insignificant one.

I just read that TNT hasn't evolved beyond that yet, even a mobile pin machine is apparently a grave sin...

UPS gave me a bill to be paid asap when they delivered my package from T&T. Haven't really done any large purchases outside the EU for years that went through TNT.

Four makes a lance... Or are I messing up my my sci-fi gaming terms ;-)

Two could throw a third, someone mentioned Rhino roller skates, Apocalypse now!

And the difference between three and four was $60 or €55 (inc. VAT/BTW), how could I refuse ;-)

Hold your horses! Oh, wait! Your Canadian... Hold your moose! ;-)

Our packages only entered customs, it is apparently still an accepted practice to keep them there for weeks... *sigh*

you kind of have to make that rollerskate-titan now, though oh, and don't forget to post a pic or two of the shipping box monstrosity that load comes in!

As fascinating as it is to hear about the Kickstarter backers' ordeals and plans, the rest of the world would like to know if they can get their hands on this product anytime soon.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

That does suck.

Was there any proof of them being held for that reason though? I've seen you toss that out a few times, but I'm not sure there has been acknowledgement of it.
