Floating enclosed cannons piloted by robots? Manly?

Not quite.

By that same reasoning necron vehicles are unmanly. Besides the Falcon=AAT I don't see any other resemblance, though.

Least manly vehicle has to be the Land Raider. AV14? Power of the Machine Spirit? Any tiny baby could pilot that. Hell, I'd do it even during a Tyranid invasion. Especially that Land Raider TheCaptain posted in the other thread, that tank is for coward babies who don't want any ouchie boo boos.

Second least manly tank is the Basilisk. A tank that usually fires from great distances? Puh-leez, it's not even a real tank. It's more like a self propelled artillery piece.

Necron Vehicles are horribly unmanly.

If you're referring to TheCaptain's post of Rynn's Might; it's only manly because it solo'd an Ork invasion. It made up for its unmanliness.

However, his repeated suggestion of The Legion Typhon Siege Tank, I have to agree with.

Its shells ignore cover just by sheer damage inflicted.. And it rams at 10/2, even if it moves an inch. And no PotMS on it. That'd be too ladylike. It's a Man's tank.

No, Rynn's Might is acceptable, if a little girly. The Typhon Siege Tank is the one I'm referring to. But see, we have different definitions of what constitutes a manly tank. To me, a manly tank is something that takes chest hair to even drive. It has to be dangerous to both the crew and the targets to be a manly tank. Your definition of manly is how awesome it is without having any shenanigans that save it's pansy ass from lascannons. Essentially, I weigh the merits of the people driving it and you consider the merits of the vehicle itself. Both are valid but I will go to my grave saying that siege tank is for sissies!

A fair, equally valid evaluation of tank-manliness.

True enough. Now if it could burrow underground and was driven by a cyborg with a mustache (Sir Hammerlock preferably) and exploded upon impact with the enemy would it be manly?

Yes, but that's not the topic of this thread. It's the least manly tanks. And I, personally, think that every tank in the Space Marine army to be unmanly. For people that know no fear they really lack guts when it comes to their vehicles.
