This. A million times this. More and more, I realize how great of a decision it was to give Mr. Poots my money!

I'm already planning at least three different campaigns with Monster when I get it. By myself (shut it!) just my girlfriend and myself, and then the whole group of our friends, Should be unfathomably fun!

Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

I'll be doing a solo campaign as well, Fragile. No worries

To be honest, I don't feed creepy as much as I do just gross. It comes off as trying too hard. Very well sculpted though (as are all the models), but the baby face and super detailed genitalia and pooper are excessive.

40k daemons (aside from Nurgle) are just silly and overly grimdark hardcore.

Excessive? I'd disagree. What's wrong with a monster having proper anatomy?

Why is it necessary for a miniatures game?

Why are good sculpts or paint jobs necessary? It adds to the aesthetic. If you'd prefer to push around blank squares, there's the perfect KS for you.

I'm personally tired of neutered werewolves and ken doll beastmen. It looks stupid to just have nothing there.

Awkward is kind of the bread and butter of KD.

Why didn't I think of that? Blank cards and board, make your own game, it can be anything you want, just give me money!

Do you mean her?
Spoiler:

That is the Regeneration Suit pin-up, which is included with the Gorm expansion (although I think you can also get her separately, if you want a resin version, as I think the Gorm version is almost certainly in plastic).

Separately as in outside of the kickstarter? I'd have to save up my pennies...

Anyone know if Poots is going to be at AdeptiCon? I know he's at Pax East, but that's a lot closer to him than Chicago.

Oh, it's not a kickstarter exclusive model, if that is what you mean? I would presume that it will be as available (or not, as the case may be) as any of the other pin-up models after the general release.

I meant separately as in it can be purchased by itself, as opposed to only being available in the Gorm expansion. Like the human Dragon King, for example, which you can only get in that expansion.

Okay, but it's not currently available. I'll have to keep my eye out for it's general release, thanks Buzz

What's with the dismembered chick eating the giant ham hock? Did she just barbeque her own leg? She looks awfully proud of her ingenuity.

Her other leg exists; Its not in the photo because they were working on positioning of it or some sort.

As to the ham hock; she's appaerntly an ode to some anime character that carried one.

She's Ayla from the Super Nintendo game Chrono Trigger. I absolutely had to get her. One of my favorite JRPGs ever.

Ahh! That makes much more sense. I don't really see the resemblance to Ayla (aside from the ham hock) but lovely minis all around, regardless. I'll likely have to pick up a few of these if they ever see general release.

That particular miniature (Ayla) is a KS exclusive and won't get a general release the only way to get it now is to find someone willing to add it to their order, go to a convention that Adam is at or wait for ebay!!!

It's tough to see since the sculpt is incomplete, but she has the clothing-tail coming out, but draped over her ham-holding arm, and the outfit is nearly a dead match, even the cord/tail wrapping around her torso up to her neck then coming back down. There are differences, though, but side-by-side it looks pretty similar.

Completely agree with this sentiment. There were a couple of KS'es that managed to pass me by last year, just because the amount of them was kind of over-whelming. This is the one I lament missing the most..

Really hope that equivalents of everything go on sale beyond the KS, even if it means that it costs substantially more!

The level of creativity and imagination on show here is truly wonderful, and as big a fan of horror films, I enjoy being creeped out by some of it

Wonderful update as always, so glad I pledged for this even if it has cost me a small fortune. A small fortune that seems to grow with every update, April 7th needs to come sooner, it needs to save me from myself.

I have to say this here is such a charming piece of artwork, kinda what this as a print or a T-shirt. Its very romantic yet considering the theme of KD you know both of these people are doomed, anything they fell for each other will be short and tragic, but that's exactly why the world of KD is so evocative.
Spoiler:

Really looking forward to the KD artbook (almost as much as the game itself) might take it to Lulu.com to get a physical copy printed up, hopefully Adam will be cool with me doing that.

It is interesting that one of the most darkest, creepiest table top games out there has produced one of the most intimate, heart warming pieces of art.

On the outside it's a disturbing horror story, but on the inside it is a story of humanity coming together in the face of utter horror.
