If I have the 200 dollar core game anyway, and the gamblers chest is a 100 dollar add on, is it worth sticking with the core game at that price rather than changing to the gold lantern one? It works out the same price and this way I still have the cheaper core game in case I decide the gamblers chest isn't worth it right?

Yep. Exactly. I'm riding out my EB Silver Lantern which is nothing more than an EB Lantern Upgrade with the gambler's chest and first hero add-ons. I expect that the value will be there when everything is complete. It's already there for the 1.5 upgrade and that's not even half revealed.

I have the core game, correct me if I have assumed wrong, but I was under the impression that the $60 1.5 Core Upgrade comes the new book, what ever cards AND the Gold Smoke Knight?

Correct - the new version of the core game extends the campaign and adds a new boss (the Gold Smoke Knight), and the upgrade pack contains this.

I think it was $120 retail when it was in the web shop. It was something like $40 during the Kickstarter.

Yea it was ridiculously cheap during the first kickstarter. I don't think we will ever see those prices again.

I like the dragon, but quality wise, it is not among the best models of KD. Look a bit toyish. At 120$ US I don't think it's worth it. But at 25 (the KS price) it was a hell of a deal

The detail was pretty shallow- I've painted most of 2 now, and you can get some good effects, but you really need to work for it. The campaign, though, is awesome.

They upped it to around $70, I think, the second time the pledge manager opened once Poots realized how expensive it was going to be.

Eh... IDK, are the male pinups succeeding as pinups? IDK. None of these have really grabbed my attention. If the dung beetle pair were cheaper, I might want them, but it's just a bit pricey.

Yeah, it's clearly the dung ball that's missing from the two Dung Beetle dancers.

I don't think it's surprising at all. I'm all for male pin-ups - it's nice gay/girl gamers can get some cheesecake too - but they are going to be a very small portion of the audience - so for 95% or better of the crowd it's going to be essentially a "wasted" stretch goal. From a business standpoint they don't make a lot of sense.

The silhouette kinda just looks like a penis with legs TBH.

Confirmation from Adam that they'd like to ship the existing expansions in Wave 1 if possible but it is dependent on how production goes.

Eh, there really is no reason to drag out showing off the stretch goals that have been met so far. Show the first dozen or so, then drag out the rest if you must, but if you want to entice even more people to pledge, sweeten the deal sooner rather than later. We're closing in on the Christmas season, when people have to decide where their money is going (presents, end of year bills, start of year bills, etc.), so you want first dibs on people's wallets.

That's... um... reassuring? As pin-ups do little for me, i'm likely sticking with Ancient Gold Lantern, and i'm naively hoping it might actually all show up next summer. :-p

the physical cards for the promos which are going to be available in the store at some point (for KS backers?) at cost + postage

and official assembly guides (which probably wont happen?)

but that's it as far as I know

Yeah, pretty sure that's all. As much grief as I've given over that stuff, the cards were addressed.

But, yeah, the lack of real instructions is still lame.
