One thing that has me confused..the armor kits that come with expansions are just sprues with weapons, arms, armor, etc...not enough for a full figure, correct?... so will there be a way to get extra "base" survivors to modify using the kits?

No they are full models, you can make 4 survivors from each.

The armor kits have enough bits to make 4 full miniatures plus lots of extra bits, aside from the green knight armor which makes 2 figures.

(the armour kits make 2 male and 2 female survivors each to tie in with the balance in the starting survivors)

Kingdom Death 4-time creator about 3 hours ago

Just for the record, I doubt I will answer this many questions in one go again!

@Creator, asking my questions again since I saw you are around :

So a list of the question I still have :
1°) Any chance to get statues from the Black Knight as 3d sculpt instead of token? If we can't move on top of them.
This all depends on the final design and how they are implemented into the showdown. Right now its too early in development to tell.

2°) Any chance to see the little narrative fluff come back with the GC roll ? I enjoyed them and the last one doesn't have any.
The last one has a little bit of narrative right under its render. It reads “He always met his foes…”

3°) Super survivors have no specific gameplay element with them right?
This is one of those questions I can’t answer yet.

4°) With most change to the core box, making underwhelming philosophy better, or underused technology better, adding resources to level 2 & 3 monsters : The game will inevitably become easier. Is there any plan to make sure this is not the case ?
By making core chunks of the game much more useful, there will be more viable options and ways to play the game. The hope is to push players into chasing higher level quarry ealier, instead of safely farming lvl 1 monsters until the game ends. The Watcher is being adjusted so that a campaign that followed that strategy, would not be able to win. And the Gold Smoke Knight stands, as an even tougher climax after that. We are also nerfing saviors, as they break gameplay. Too many campaigns rely on them to be solutions and that takes away from the core gameplay, which is a combination of planning, skill and risk taking. Both during the fights and in the development of your settlement.

Won't the sunstalker campaign become too easy with the new survival of the fittest?
That campaign is already easy. It’s a situation of preparing for a late game onslaught of nemesis monsters. Wherein a single loss would end the campaign. Updating innovations and builds that are simply never used, in my opinion, does not make the game overall easier. It just opens up more play styles and options to completing the puzzle that is the campaign.

5°) Any chance with the new node rule to have rule that help replaced the white lion from prologue with the other LY1 quarry ?
That would require rewriting the base story, and I am quite happy with how it is!

6°) Confused between synchronised attack and synchronised strike. One is showing as the first core box update SG, the other showed yesterday as à new art from the drum. Are they the same?
Yes

7°) I've seen Adam talk about making the corrected cards available for the lonely tree, can we have more info on that? Will the same be available for the other expansion like the bettle knight ?
Adam is the creator and thats me. The lonely tree and DBK specifically will have their cards with the correct name on them. They will most likely be available via our site or placed in the *updated card pack we have been working on for our own connivence. Getting just 1 or 2 cards replaced is shockingly not that easy to get out of a manufacturer.

8°) Any new on non gameplay elements like metal dice or card sleeves ?
No news

9°) Fluff wise, if the Pariah is a whitespeake why is it so weird looking compared to the other white speaker? What crazy stuff happened to him ?
That information may or may not be sprinkled throughout its expansion.

10°) I ordered a bunch of stuff from EU Warehouse still shows unfulfilled. I've heard about people getting refund , getting a bit worried that I'll miss my order as it's almost a month ago.
Do you have any info? =/
Please submit a ticket (which I am sure you have). The communication delay with the EU warehouse is long. We have been working towards a solution for many months. This time around I cannot fully put it on them tho, as our store was crippled by the black friday sale and it took us time to rebuild our export scripts and get the order list out to them. In the future I am working towards having a better solution that makes life for our EU customers easier. The excuse of being a tiny company based in NY is sadly wearing thin, despite that it IS a real world logistical challenge. All I can say is that I am sorry and we will sort you out.

Thank you for making this a very exciting KS to follow, really hypped waiting for the update every evening, cheers!
Glad you are enjoying it!

This has got to be... the most confusing kickstarter ever. I wish there was a visual pic of what each pledge contained, and pics of all add ons.

All I know is there is a ton of content and it varies greatly from pledge to pledge. I had grabbed a satan pledge so I should get one of everything (I hope), would be nice to know.

Obviously, it's made out of bone.

Surprised the Adam mini isn't in that promos of death box, seeing as how Paul and Anna are.

I need to check which promos I'm missing. I think I have them all except the named ones (Anna, Paul, Snow, and Adam).

Still can't pin Adam down to find out if new armor kits are within the scope of the campaign (but at least he said he'd be offering up the current ones again in the new year).

Anyone want to wager a guess as to when the Christmas sale will start on the site? The 24th? 25th? 31st? Tomorrow?

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

there's a fan made spreadsheet that may help

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yongANgzTydc244aWDJyFoHhTBDBKWpGuF6CtlN6jEc/edit#gid=0

you're missing the frogdog and gamblers t-shirts, the candy & cola cross over promo and (if it actually makes it to the KS) the satan expansion, (although I suspect it won't actually feature just like he promised to make a satan during the first KS but the minis for the twins with their dick and tongue cloaks didn't show up til later and weren't actually part of the KS)

So... maybe I'm just cranky, but I paid for those messengers 4 years ago and got minis without rules which kept getting pushed back, and now they're the same price and come with the rules that were promised with them to begin with, and I need to pay for those rules?

Am I the only one a bit miffed by that?

It depends....if you have to pay for just those rules on their own, that's rude. If they're bundled in with other rules upgrades etc, then I don't see an issue.

Yeah guess that's fair. Just getting kind of tired of seeing rereleases of content I bought with cards, and basically no recognition of the first KS.

Orlando, yeah, I think the romantic model is great, and like the pond scum model more than most of the pinups, though I'm going to gamble on a flood of post-KS pinup dumping and that it'll be a buyer's market.

He said he will release all these cards at cost to be bought from the shop.

it is not a bad compromise.

I'm sorry, but 4 years late is still 4 years late. 4 years late and asking for more money isn't much of a compromise. What's he compromising, on, exactly?

I'd say making the pinup bonuses available is a nice compromise since it's making it an option to people who already bought in before (with nothing explicitly promising they'd not be revised), but these are rules which had been promised ages back.

He said quite awhile ago that the rules were unsatisfactory, and that a card pack would be eventually made available(for purchase).

Sinful, that was just directed at how I didn't find it a compromise. Yeah, I know there were expansion rules promised in some form.

I guess that depends where the buyer is, for a small amount of cards shipping outside continental America, the shipping will likely be more than 50% of the price.

Honestly - it is more than a little annoying that Poots - who has run KD as a "everything is super limited buy now buy now buy now, everything sells out within an hour of going up at the webstore." Apparently has no problem rereleasing all the limited edition whazzits I paid for years ago from the first KS.

He actually did release the rules for the messengers and other promos, you can still download them from the website, he just didn't like them so he's making new rules.

There are valid criticisms about the game and how Poots handles things but he delivered on what was promised for the promos which was downloadable scenarios and cards. Don't blame him for you never reading the updates.

But still delivered and quite playable.

As I said, there are fair complaints (like backers this time around getting the updated cards and rules printed for free) but it's a waste of energy to complain over the promo rules not being delivered.

No, an open beta with mostly thrown together clip art where it had anything at all and was then cancelled is not a delivery.

And, at least 3 of the scenarios were exercises in tedium, they were so easy or so stacked against the player.

There are 2 ways to work this.( err.. 3. I forgot one.)

1. Use the base survivors for a couple of games, and gather some scraps and armor and weapons on paper only, until you have a couple of figures that you want to work with more.

2. Use the base cloth armor kit as an additional 4 more survivors. They look the same, and have the same stuff, as well as a couple of add on parts that you can use.

3. There are additional one off survivors such as the Intimacy figures, the pin ups, and the one offs added in through the project that can also be used as starting survivors/ additional survivors. That will give you a few more options for team members so you are not stuck with the base 4.

I have a couple of additional heads that came with the first KS that were additional content for figures with mixed sets. Getting a full set of one armor choice is difficult, until after a couple of games, and depending on your battles. In total with the cloth armor set, you have 4 figures, your base survivors have 4 figures, and use of the other additional kit sets can give you a few different options, because of the extras on the sprues.
