I gotta say, I really like how they're listening to fan feedback and changing designs based on that, and doing it so quickly, too. I'm finding myself more interested in Bauhaus now.
I can't decide if I want to pledge on the Kickstarter or not, though...I meant to ask my local store today if they planned on supporting the game but I forgot. Being in the US I'm not sure if they even could, but they did get Dropzone Commander (though sadly no one around here is apparently interested in the game) which is also UK-based, so I dunno. I don't plan to pledge for a whole lot though, I was thinking of getting a couple starters and the rulebook and getting the rest later.

Maybe create an "Ambassador" program for Warzone outreach in the USA and else where? One opportunity to grow quickly is being able to demo the game at Game/comiccons, National tourneys and demo days at LGS.

@Warzone Resurrection/Prodos: Guys, I think that it is time to throw us a bone on KS. You know some of the units that we will see if we reach the stretch goals, etc. We need this kind of boost, so that the KS funding will not lose its momentum (I mean compared to the first day, the ones that followed were a bit disappointing ). I know that there are almost two more months to go, but no one says that we cannot use this extra time to exceed even the more optimistic expectations

Euhm... No:

Not even 10k was raised the first day, the second day was more then 12k, third day was 4k, and the fourth day almost 6k.

Either way, fluctuation is pretty common in the first days. Usually day 1 and 2 are the biggest, the next several days make about half and there are smaller spikes on the weekend. Either way we are about to hit the goal today so I would be expecting our first major update soon. But I'll be interested to see what average per-day level it skims along at for the next little while. I have a good feeling that even after a goodly amount of slow down, it should still break the 100k mark.

I'm sure the updates that include the content posted here and elsewhere helped with the funding. I'm personally not in because I don't see a monetary value with pledging compared with simply ordering when it's released but the thread here (and of course the kickstarter) has gotten me interested again in Warzone for the first time in around a decade and am interested in seeing and possibly buying the products when they do hit the shelves.

I'm excited about the models for the cyber guys since they'll fill a nitch in my hobby collection but I'm in the same boat as warboss. I'll likely pick them up once they are on general distribution as the discount doesn't equate to what I'll get from retailers and they'll include free shipping.

To be entirely honest the more I think about it the less excited I am about it, don't get me wrong, I want to see the game succeed and do not plan on withdrawing my pledge, but I do not think I will bother playing it, so I am thinking instead of commiting to the two starters my raside pledge has instead I am thinking on going to chasseur and just pick squads monsters and characters I would rather paint.
So this brings tot he question, will the starter heroes be available as add ons for the likes of me who would rather just pick random add ons? and how would that affect shipping?

I will have to disagree with you on your point about the "monetary value" of your pledge. It is a KS not a glorified pre-order system. You pledge because you are interested in seeing the project taking off rather than taking a discount lower than the one you would get from an online shop. I mean, if we were all thinking like that, the products would not hit the shelves, simply because there would not be enough capital to fund their production (in the case of the current KS, Bauhaus would not be available for release for quite some time). So, there is a contradiction when you say that you are interested in WZ, but you are not willing to support this KS just to gain some more % of discount. But then again, everyone to his own and his own wallet
And speaking of "monetary value", I find the pledge rewards just right. Not over-generous, but generous enough to be really attractive.
P.S.: Please, do not read my comment as an effort to start a flame war. I was just expressing my thoughts and I hope that no offence was given by what I write.

I'm pledging to decrease the MSRP, hopefully get the core troops in plastic and unlock a few of the factions that people have been calling for (I lucked out, both of my main ones are funded now). Either way, it's not like my FLGS has selection outside of GW and PP stuff, so the chances of me finding cheaper local prices are pretty low. And I can't see him being too keen on picking WZ back up (he still has stock from the Target days and picked up the FFG re-launch that still has boxes lying around in the discount bin). So waiting for me is of zero benefit and I want to see this project actually do well so that it can continue to grow.
Kickstarter is all about giving funding to projects you want to see succeed, I want Warzone to succeed, so they get my dollar (well pound in this case).
Oh and as of today the project exceeded 35k, on to the stretch goals baby!

I think I see Warboss's point though.
For me, the items I'm interested in are going to be available no matter what (granted in resin instead of possibly plastic) so where is the appeal for me to kick in on a company I don't know (unlike previous kickstarters I've participated in where I'm familiar with the company or person running it) when the product will be released anyway and I can get it for a cheaper cost (i.e. larger discount and no shipping).
I understand it's not a glorified pre-order system but even Dreamforge managed to get a good value for a product they were specifically needing funding to even do (basically at cost). That allowed him to create an entire line of products now out on shelves for an extremely reasonable price and those of us who supported him early (like me) got our product for a significant discount, even over the discounted retailer cost.
I'm not personally expecting CMoN or Reaper levels of Freebies or even Mantic. But it's not unreasonable to look at other similar kickstarters and expect something similar. Just something to consider.

Well I imagine there will be more stuff/better discounts as the KS goes on
that's just the way KS works
(and people do need to remember there is an added layer complexity as Prodos has licenced the IP, needs to pay for that too, so there will be less 'free funds' to use for discounts/freebies)

No offense taken but we'll have to agree to disagree. You may pledge because you're interested in seeing the project take off but I see kickstarters like this (which is in fact a glorified preorder) differently. It's a preorder effectively because the products in the initial offering were already designed and are coming out regardless of the results of this effort. I personally consider kickstarters that are still in the design phase to not be preorders if the funds gathered are necessary to kickstart the project to the next phase of production; that's not the case here. YMMV. For the type of projects as this one, my view is that the company gets the benefit of advanced funding a few months earlier than otherwise as well as a larger built in ready to go community for the game for the trade off of selling the products NOT at a loss but instead to the end consumer at the effective price (due to stretch goals and bulk deals) that they'd normally offer to distributors. The preorder style kickstarters like the CMON ones have embraced this method and been very successful.
You mentioned that I'm not willing to support this kickstarter "just to gain some more % of discount". That's not entirely true but I don't think I did a good job of explaining it in the single post you're responding to (although I did touch upon it earlier in the thread). Pledging now means that I may or may not get what I was expecting since the final product may differ in quality and style from the renders shown currently (see the various Defiance games threads for examples of that problem). What if something happens that is out of the direct control of Prodos games? They've mentioned that they need to get the approval of a third party (Paradox) for any changes or additions; what happens if paradox paradoxically ( lol.. I went there!) decides to just become unreasonable and stall or torpedo the project because they decided something else would be more lucrative for them? Warzone went through some crazy decisions for unknown reasons that sunk the earlier seemingly successful entry into the wargames market so I can't just discount that the same company that is involved in this new project (albeit somewhat less prominently) won't do the same thing. What if the boat carrying the minis sinks? There is a whole list of "what if?" scenarios that all result in the same end situation of me not getting my money back through no actual fault of Prodos games... and that's on top of issues that they may have control over like design changes that I don't like but am locked into after the kickstarter ends or quality control. Its certainly not worth me starting some ridiculous international legal proceeding to get my $100 back as it would likely cost me more to initiate those proceedings.
Kickstarters (especially international ones) are a balance between risk and benefit. The "risks" for this one for me personally doesn't outweigh the benefits (the price discount) compared with simply buying the end product with an almost complete lack of risk just a few months later FOR LESS. I'm not some diehard fan that lives, sleeps, and breathes Warzone... I don't get a psycological benefit or rush from being a founding supporter that balances me paying MORE for the privilege of MORE risk. YMMV.

For those worried about discounts and pricing... check the page. 5-man units are now going for 12GBP ($18USD) instead of the previous 19GBP (and that will be cheaper than the MSRP even if they hit all the stretch goals). Does that work for people?
Now I just need to wait and see if Venusian Rangers get funded and I'll be adding another 12-24GBP to my pledge.
Might also have to pitch in for a couple more Cuirassier as well. Hmm.

Interesting to see WZ getting new life. Learned about it originally only after the Fantasy Flight's (largely predictable) failure with the franchise and then went back to look a bit into the books available online. I liked how the setting sometimes seemed like it wasn't taking itself entirely seriously.
I like most of the previewed sculpts, in no small part because they retain a lot of the original aesthetics, but bring them up to more modern standards and perhaps expectations. And while at the conceptual and CGI phase they look a bit "serious", I hope the printed material conveys a bit of the original's quirkiness, the rock-and-roll that the chaps behind RPG talked about. In other words, I hope the game will also have a strong graphic image, to set it apart from the rest of the stuff on the market; WZ battle scenes are as crowded and full of action as those in "grimdark", but while the latter is Gothic and, well, grim and dark, what Paul Bonner does is almost baroque in comparison - full of color, exaggerated features and detail, that isn't getting lost in the fog of war. So, before I get carried away - hope Resurrection taps into that for the printed stuff like cards and books.
Also, what do you think - should faction symbols get a bit of a facelift? Cybertronic, for example, seems to me a little aged in that it may have looked very "cyber" in the eighties ...

At the bottom, with all of the add-ons. Previously the list was for an army case and a t-shirt (and the old unit box add-on was 19GBP for a 5-man). Now all of the current units are up 12GBP for a 5-man box, 9GBP for characters and the like (some of them are 2-packs). Probably more about the decision when they do the "yay, we made funding!" update which tends to follow the successful funding of a project.
Edit - And holy hell, when did they change the army preview picture for Bauhaus to use the new art? I love it! We've already seen the Hussars, but the extra helmet option looks great. More importantly, the head options for the Vulkan are amazing. Armoured canopy and even a nod to the old roll-cage (but, you know, not stupid looking). Another one of those is a definite add-on for me.

The Ranger looks bad ass. Those sloped shoulder/arm plates are also really starting to grow on me. I'm really loving Bauhaus's new visual direction.
