It lost a lot of style in the last resculpt, primarily the nose down attitude. I hoping that dropping the nose about 15 degrees will bring some of the attitude back.
I really wish the orca got a bigger revamp like the cybertronic and bauhaus larger figs that still paid homage to the originals yet look modern and great. If I got a capitol force together, I'd much rather use my leftover AT43 Cobra models that the egg of doom walker.

I have some exciting news. We are going to start shiping next week. Obviously this will be a staged process. So actually 10 weeks later than we originally predicted, but with 100%+ more lines I think we have done well.
We should point out that the deliveries WILL NOT include the CARDS or BOOKS. As neither are ready (as discussed before due to misprediction of time to do from our supplier) and are likely to take another month to be produced. As such these will be sent subsequently and seperately when we have them and at our cost.
We are asured that the KR Cases, TShirts and Photos will all be with us by the middle of the month too!
You will recieve an email from us when your product goes out. Please be patient with us there is a lot to pick and some lines are still in need of production, but all will be done as soon as possible.
For the Convention, as always we have had some negative feedback, especially around the Convention only model. I would like to state that he will be available at all conventions we attend over the next 15 months or so (we may even extend his reign to 2015, if we haven't attended enough shows in 2013/4). But he will be 'Convention Exclusive' in the same way 'Tatsamoto' was 'KS Exclusive'.
With this KS being over then, this thread can go to the misc. minis board....
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
"the play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king,
I'll admit it, I'm surprised they're shipping already. Guess we can expect rules and such alongside the second wave of super-heavies (at least I hope, I'd feel bad if they had to ship those separately as well). Not a huge deal, we have the PDFs to hold us until we can get the print stuff. Though I kind of hope that means we see the revised rules in PDF form soon since they incorporated a lot of fixes before they went to print.
Though with Deadzone possibly arriving ahead of schedule that gives me less time to actually get through this stuff before I'm buried in my second pile of minis.
I'm fine with not having my rulebook yet. I was more interested in the minis from a modeling perspective anyway. The fact that there's a ruleset I can use them with is just a nice little bonus. Now I get the joy of figuring out how I'm actually going to paint this stuff.
Definitely this. But Mutant Chronicles always ran heavy on pulp and planetary romance stuff. The behemoth was always kind of a dead ringer for some kind of massive not-thark.
Love the look of this thing, lots of character with just the right amount of levity. Definitely a great centre piece to a DL force.
Gotta say, not sure how I feel about this model. It definitely fits with the 90s feel of the original models, but I can't help feeling that it'll look outa place with a lot of the new models.

I agree. Except for this and the orca, the new models pay homage IMO to the old but also display a decidedly modern aesthetic. This model, while detailed, feels right at home with the earlier goofier range and looks like it was lifted from the old 1st edition RPG cover.
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the latest update.
Update on Manufacture and Delivery Update #126 · Sep 24, 2013 · 10 comments
Hello all
So we have started delivery, sending out where we have stock to meet the full order, but without Cards.
On the good side we now have many of the cards in the print process, including 12,000 Resource cards.
The book is still our main source of frustration, although we are hopeful it will be ready to print very shortly.
You can be assured when it is sent you will get a very excited update and an ETA.
Model-wise we now have a lot newly printed as you can see from the tables below and all of them are in the pipeline to production now.
Most noticeably Alakhai has finally granted us with his presence.
So, things are shipping now-ish. Hopefully that means my stuff will be going out soon. On the downside, it looks like I'll be getting everything except my Bauhaus starter for the time being.
Not really. If you look at the latest update of the chart, everything is ready from the starter except the Vulkan. It looks like they'll probably be ready be the end of the month though.
Orders are starting to get posted on the Facebook group. So far a Cap player and a DL player have received their spoils. I'm expecting mine significantly later simply due to the size a breadth of the order (at least, looking at that chart). Oh well, the wait will be worth it.
Can't wait to start seeing figure reviews now that these are out in the wild.
Edit - Oh, and keep in mind that just because something isn't completed, doesn't mean they wont send it out. Someone posted a shot of Alakhai which is still in production. So they likely have a sizable enough stockpile to send some orders off even if they don't have 100% of the total figure order fulfilled. So Bauhaus may not be as far off as it looks for some lucky folks. Manufacturing simply means they are still in the queue and churning out minis. My guess is the minis that are still in production are simply that way because people ordered a ton of 'em (I know I'm down for several Vulcan suits after all ).

This may be old news for some of the regular visitors to the facebook page but I found an interesting scale pic from there that I thought I'd share (sorry if it's been posted already but I don't recall seeing it). I have to say the size of the two on the left surprised me. I sort of figured the Orca was roughly the same scale as the Bauhaus walker mech.

Vulkan and Meka look like they'll be good alternatives to the Deadzone mechs. Glad I'm at least getting one of them. Man, I'm really going to need to get Mishima.
This topic seems to have been shoved by the wayside of late. Seeing as we haven't heard anything from Prodos in a while, I thought I'd just ask, has anyone received a notice of shipment of their product or received the stuff yet?
warboss wrote: So has the entirety of this KS been delivered or is it going with wave releases/shipment?
Basically, it looks like they are currently fulfilling as they go. Likely in the order of ones they can complete the most at any given time. Since there is going to be a second wave of releases (super-heavies) and we are still waiting on books as well. Some of the Mishima stuff may also be second wave.
So now that they have a good stockpile of almost everything save Mishima, they are trying to fulfill whatever will make the most impact. My guess is those of us with large orders will probably end up being later on in the cycle (which may be beneficial to those of us who have super-heavies, books and other "second wave" stuff that could theoretically get folded in to one shipment and sent off in one go rather than piecemeal).
And that Max makes me want mine even more. Damn you!
