Whenever I get this move finished and I'm able to get all of my stuff sorted, I've got a few more of those jungle ruin Scibor bases. I'd like to grab a couple more Bagh Mari at some point and put them on those bases.

So I've finished a few models over the last few days for my burgeoning Force de Reponse Rapide Merovingienne.



Anaconda TAG - I'm not super confident in the effectiveness of this TAG, but it provides something most won't expect in an Ariadnan sectorial. I will have an Engineer Moblot with it for babysitting purposes which should help.



My first Loup-Garou,which totally aren't the GIGN. Not sure where they got the idea for the cape from, but the rest of these models, down to the shinguards are the exact same as what the Gendarmerie uses.



Dusted up the model to tie them in with the arid/desert theme I've been doing with these models.



My last Briscard - all glory to the Heavy Rocket Launcher on a model with an MSV 1. Camo, eat your heart out.

They've got a real 'Foreign Legion' vibe about them, not sure if that was your intent!

The Anaconda fits in really well with the other minis as well, doesn't look out of place at all.

You can't see it in the picture, but the Anaconda's sword arm has "LE" written on his wrist for "Legion Etranger." The camo is also copied from the current tropical dress of the French Army, more or less, using some of the Foreign Legion soldiers assigned to guard various "sensitive" parts of Paris I've seen ever since the Charlie Hebdo attacks, and on my morning commute through the Louvre since the attack in Tunisia.

They tend to give me the oddest looks when I'm looking over their uniforms, can't imagine why.

Just wanted to share a WIP with you guys. Basically stole Señor Giraldez' new PanO scheme. I like it, and my imagination when it comes to painting is really lacking.

It still needs a base, metallics need final highlights, OSL on the red details, markings and just some general touch-ups. Feels like it's only 50 % done when I list the remaining touches. Sorry for not waiting to post the finished product. It's very hectic at work, so painting time is extremely limited, and I'm super-impatient to share.

The photo is very poor though, think something that looks this good deserves a proper daylight bulb shot and something other than a camera phone!

I try to do NMM (not sure how well it turns out though ) most of the time because I tried my metallic paints and didn't really like them. I'm still a bit nooby at it but I'm working on it. My current approach is just: go all the way up to white and add lots of light :x lol.

I agree with you on the photo though haha . No arguments there . sorry for the crappy phone pics :( . I don't have a fancy camera atm and well, probably wont be getting one anytime soon lol. The daylight bulb is a good idea though, will probably look into it. ! also thought about making a light box thing but I don't have the space for that either atm : p.

Thanks man! Yeah it's a love it or hate it combo I think. I wasn't sure about what colours at first; that green is hard to match imo. My alternative was red/gold instead of purple/gold or maybe blue/white, but I've been painting a lot of red already and blue/white is planned for my panO.

Would really recommend a daylight bulb ckig if you can get one! Really useful for painting as well as you get a much more accurate measure of light.

I recently bought Operation: Icestorm and I'm looking forward to getting a few games of Infinity with these nice new rules (N3 looks much better than N2 did). My painting isn't great, but I'm pretty happy with how the first few models are turning out.

Love the colour schemes, think Yellow works really well for Nomads (think that's the colour I would go for if I ever get round to painting mine up)
