That's the maximum number "at the same time" - people join and leave and then differing timezones spread people out as you can see by the two peaks on the Day graph. One is the Europe peak and then you get the US peak time. (Although the times are skewed there with it being Easter Friday)

Hey guys the infinite iron generator is up and running and will begin on my build age wool/dye generator, if I get my way we'll have communal resources for everything i can make an infinite amount of soon
Still need ghast tears ender balls, item terrisacts, and eventually golems to keep an eye on the community chest.

Anyone know how to make a wireless blutricity system? I've seen them done, but never been able to replicate them.

I'm unsure if there is a way to directly transport Blutricty wirelessly, but you can use batteries, batboxes and any way of teleporting items along with filters to create a wireless charge/discharge system

Should have specified, that's the sort of thing I mean.

@blood lance: I believe that we've decided it's the peace symbol that the Swastika originally was before Mr. Hitler took it away, due to the orientation of it.

An update for those in the Accords: Iron Golem Protectors (the Thaumcraft version of iron golems) can be used instead of Turtles to create automatic experience grinders. However, you need to give them the Visor Accessory, which can only be researched from Knowledge Fragment crafted Unknown Theorems.

I am looking for Knowledge Fragments, now. Any and all are good- easiest way to get them is to trade from purple robed Thaumcraft Villagers.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

So I've gotten the time to come on the server. I still thought we were on the beta (thingy) one, but apparently this thirty one page thread says differently. =)

Anyhow, I live at 865, -165 (currently an unassuming mound of red cobble) if anyone happens to want to come over and stab me to death (Sky_Slasher78).

Oh and also, because apparently people took ages to find one, there's a village at 825, 225. ...Which I happened upon about five minutes after leaving the spawn.

Hey I'm quick at building. At the time of posting that was just any other hill with a 4x5 room beneath. ...I only just got a bed.

I've found out, much to my own displeasure, that red rock biomes (or whatever they're called) are pretty terrible as far as ores go. I spent the better part of the morning trying to get enough iron ingots to make a bucket... Yes I could have just gone to the cave age, or even down the hill to the swamp, but one must learn to adapt to their environment.

... I do feel as though I'm a third world country compared to the other user's domains right now though. Oh look I just made some paddy fields... =)

if the village is the one with the apartment building, thats mine, i'd prefer to keep building it out but its served its purpose of making me golems for now.

I've sucessfully modified the iron grinder to work for gold and enderballs as well, just not all 3 at the same time, need some more IC solar panels to make the grinder for all 3
Working on resource distro center, after thats done I just need some dirt/grass blocks from a silk touch shovel and community chest will be online

ender chest for donations is red red red, currently need Blulectric engines, liquid tessaracts, ghast tears, have pretty much everything for trade

Is there a Gregtech way to transform power up to 8192 EU/p?
I tried supercondensators, but I'm sure I got them wrong... :(

I don't know about transforming power to that, but I think either a fusion reactor or a lightning rod produce that

I don't trust nuclear. There's too many things to go wrong with them. Lightningrods, however, are a more tempting prospect. A shame that they look so bad at maximum efficiency.

You can use a HV transformer to transform high voltage to extreme voltage (8192 EU/t).

The supercondensator is for extreme to what I like to call ludicrous voltage (1 million EU/t).

Cheers, corpses- just what I've been looking for.

In terms of what I use to get that power, I've always preferred passive generators. I used to use wind turbines for everything back in my earliest tekkit days, and now I've moved on to ultimate solars. They're wonderful things.

I miss those early Tekkit days, when I didn't have a clue what was going on. That's why I'm strongly debating trying Thaumcraft- it's something completely new.

Plus I'm going to reskin the lightning wand as a hand and use force lightning.

4, if you do end up starting some Thaumcraft, could you please keep a journal (using a book and quill- remember, don't' sign until you're completely done!) of all your discoveries and research? I'm trying to populate the Tower's library with actual in-game works, as well as things like enchanted books and maybe various linking books.

Speaking of- Hey Dark, can we use Writing Desks to re-name Linking Books? Or is that disabled?

Darnit. So you can't just disable the creation of Descriptive books? Have to keep the whole writing desk out. Whelp.

Yeah, though. Villagers are a picky lot. I really, really want to get my Thaumcraft villager to like me enough to sell Knowledge fragments- but I really need to get some emeralds first. And hopefully I can get at least a lvl 1 Angry Zombie shard in the meantime. And hopefully the first piece of Research I get from the Knowledge Fragments is the Accessory: Visor for the Golem Protectors. Then I can build the Brain machine, which'll let me (with the infinite Praecantito thing I was taught) get the Warded Stone I need to finish the Tower's outside- then I still need a Blue sheep or 10 for wool... Need a better source of Indigo or blue dye (or Minium shards, I suppose)...

I do think I've figured out a way to have a Tower-wide (or tall, I guess) Automatic Stocking system using Clay golems.

Tower's gonna have a Library, a Potions lab, an Enchanting room (which may or may not be in the library) a Book Nexus (also may or may not be in the Library- wish you could rename Linking books so much, then we could just stick a selection of them on shelves), maybe a Portal room, a Thaumic Workshop, and an Armoury. I think I've figured out a cool thing with the Soul Forge, and a bunch of Arcane Bellows, and a wooden golem.

Who said Magic was less involved than Engineering? (Nobody. That's who.)

It IS nuclear, it works pretty much exactly how real life fusion works.
