if you want lots of silverwood use the dartcraft force mitts on the leaves and profit. i usually get 7+ per tree.

when i made my TC hammer, pick and excavator i had to smelt the obsidian, i used the one at spawn.

In order to get a certain obsidian ingot yes. But no you can use a tool table. Which I think is not intended.

It's 'cause Obsidian isn't a 'metal'. And Tinker's is meant as a standalone- there's little built-in cross-compatibility functionality by design. So if you think about it, in a 'vanilla' Tinkers map, you'd have to have gotten at least one diamond before you'd be able to use Obsidian (could apply the diamond to a pick for a single diamond obby mining pick), just like normal minecraft. It's only when you add in Minium stones (and their ridiculous 2 logs for obby price) and Steel (which has a Cobalt mining level...) that you get into superfast Obby tools.

Optio, your Enderchest backed up again, which made the quarry spew items all over the floor again. I voided them all again to stop the lag.

Notice to all, it's generally a good idea to have systems in place to automatically shut things off if storage gets full (or power/fuel runs out), even if you think it's unlikely/impossible that such a situation would occur. Buildcraft gates, MFR rednet, computercraft, openperipherals or just plain "last route goes to void pipe" can help here.

put a gate on the chest, on full emit redstone, invert the signal to a wireless transmitter, put a reciever next to the quarry, done

things get wonky late at night due to the server coming up and no one logging on or walking to other ages, so you cant always count on the enderchest working (I just recently had to setup a super-barrel to handle charcoal production for the same reason)

It's his enderchest in the overworld that backs up though, due to power issues with his ME system. If the quarry side didn't load, he would be ok

It is not the chest unfortunetly but something I just read up on Tesseracts. Basically they dont send a packet of Mj's until they receive a complete charge off 100Mj. So although every tick im producing enough MJ to run the system including the 25% loss it is not actually receiving it fast enough to keep up. So I need more power still to get the energy sent faster.
I probably incorporate your idea in the future though as a fail safe.

So, I was trying to dig downwards in order to make a facility in the Promised Land when the server went down for scheduled restart. When the server came back, two entire chunks had been reverted to their original state and I lost everything in there including a quarry, some diamond pipes, an ender tank, four magmatic engines, and some redstone conduits. It's kind of a big loss for me.


The scaffolding is still there from the quarry and won't disappear. Is this a common bug in Promised Land?

It's literally just those two chunks, and the quarry scaffolding isn't even disappearing because of this reloading bug.

Sounds similar if not exactly the same as the "Endertank/chest + Quarry + TwilightForest = chunk reset" bug. I'll return the items in this case, but the only way to avoid a repeat occurrence is to avoid using Endertanks/Enderchests in the same area as the quarry. Liquid/item Tesseracts are ok I think.

Quicksand would probably work good, i used to have a quicksand pit in front of my house on the test server with pipes underneath to collect goodies.
Pretty sure I fell in it more than mobs did though.

If you have the time to make them magnum torches prevent mob spawning within 64 blocks, which is pretty good protection, if anyone does go through this bother make extra potions and i'll buy them off you

grinders kill the mobs, and poop the drops out the back, no need to kill them with lava or whatever, pretty nice There are also blocks called item collectors that will poop items into any attached pipes the moment they touch the block

I'm not using the Grinder for this because they need powering. Drowning is free, not to mention it makes Soul Shard creation easier- I want to have a Wither Skeleton Soul Shard eventually, no matter how useful MFR Auto-Spawners are.

also i'm working to reduce lag near the dome, to help do so I need about a quarter to a half stack of spiders eyes, will trade for them

i am pretty sure i have that amount of spider eyes floating around. i would gladly exchange for netherrack/brick or soul sand.

thats totally doable, grey grey white is my enderchest frequency if you drop them in there i'll drop stacks of appropriate materials in for when you log on next, or just catch me online

After a talk with abs, I'm going to start setting up a free EU power grid
Substations will go up first, then the polls/power lines/loaders

Each poll will be stopped with a MFE or two, this is where you will draw power, drawing power directly from the power lines will end VERY poorly for your machinery especially if I accidentally put super high voltage through it, just draw off the mfe's and everything will be cool

how do you access force armour to add cores, I thought it was shift-right click but it aint working
