Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!
On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

I am extremely lucky to own a copy of the rogue trader rulebook. One of the many things stuck out to me was the juggernaut. From what I read, juggernauts were like super super heavies, about the size of an average gaming board with a ridiculous amount of weapons and the ability to carry amazing amounts of troops. I know in epic they had a tank carrier that was like a juggernaut, however, I want to know whether juggernauts are feasible things in 40k current fluff.

I Think they became the Mechanicus' Ordinatus superweapons - that's the closest thing existing in the modern fluff I can think of...

only the largest of apoc games could support such a monster like an ordantus from the mechanicus.
when i first read the title I honestly assumed the "juggernaut" was a reference to the GDI walker with three huge cannons on it. (which I have been considering constructing as a titan with triple quake cannons).
But honestly the post above me is my best guess as well. Other then that non-titan mega tanks are the Levethiathan which is a moving command center +guns or the Capitolis Imperialis which is a super huge tank transport (as crazy as that idea is).

Nowdays Juggernaut means a big metal Rhino that Khorne's champions ride into battle.
What you describe is something between an Ordinatus Battery and a Leviathan command vehicle.

This. Juggernauts of Khorne have always been a big... rhino... dog.... tank... thing.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

Rogue trader was full of a lot of odd stuff. Probably the only juggernaut you'll see now is a robot rhino daemon.

They seem to be based partially on Bablyonian Lions.
He is TRAMPLING ON that man, before you ask. Automatically Appended Next Post:
That was what made it so cool, you could pitch up with any old stuff and jack it into the Rogue Trader universe. Ambull, anyone? Zoat? Slann?
Plus, some hugely transparent knock offs of existing sci-fi universes, but hey, if you;re going to steal, steal from the masters.

I always liked the idea of running a game on top of a juggernaut as it pounds along somewhere. I always got the feeling that they were supposed to be massive transport vehicles, but not necessarily military in nature. More like a big land train. Lots of pop-up turrets and weird hatches would make for an intereting time as well though
