Subject: Watch Dogs Open World Demo. GTA meets Assassin's Creed?
Just saw this open world demo of Watch Dogs. Pretty short but has some cool footage, though I wonder how much of this is really unscripted gameplay (they claim no missions, no nothing for this demo)
The UI reminds me a lot of assassins creed and the modern open world setting is reminiscent of other modern open worlds like gta, saints row, sleeping dogs, etc hence the title

It looks interesting fo sho, but the daily downpour of trash tier games spearheaded by false promises of greatness has left me something of a bitter game.
I'll wait for the reviews. It will be fun to be a sort of technomancer hero.

Open world games often fail to deliver interest in the longer term. There are only so many times you can do x, y or z. Sometimes you just need unique missions rather than generic action.
I am excited about this. I know it's a bit early to make a call but if it delivers on the promises made in that trailer then it is GOTY material for sure. I'll be picking it up on next-gen release day as it's looking more and more like it will be one of the launch titles for both Xbox and PS4.
