Heavy painting.
The 2nd advisor for my Genswick is finished (astropath or master of the fleet, whichever is more useful):
Henchmen done, more or less:
I'm quite happy with the face of the guy on the right, not that you can see anything, he even has eyes that face in the same direction .... Let me know what you think of the bases.
Now casting ...
Trenchrails!
Now to finish off greenstuffing some more Genswick, you'd think after 100 or so of them I'd be able to get the arms to attach properly ....
Thank you for stopping by
OMN.

I say the grey man as fleet liaison. sems more fitting. Like the high armor collar.
Henchmen look ready to serve their Inquisitor
Ah, trenchrails for battle tanks!

Yep the trench rails are pretty damned cool if I do say so myself, apart from having broken the printed masters already they cast nicely too.
I'm working on a template for an engine extension for the standard leman russ for everyone, which the trench rails would fit on to nicely, I've made blueprint for it so far, just deciding on a thickness of plasticard to work from.
@LDD: I put half a dozen up on ebay, sold out within a day! And that advisor is very creepy, in a bad 80's way. Main thing that bothers me about it is the silly long arms.
@ shas: Thanks. Fleet liaison providing reconnaissance data was the idea.
Thanks all.

Radio-guy looks good.
I feel that he should have something on his suitcase; writing (squiggles) or a symbol or two, under the wings.
Good work on the Inquisition. Biggles is my favourite.
Bases are perfect for them.
Trench-rails look the part, good job.

So as a Thank you and to mark 20 pages of this rambling nonsense
I give you all my completely untested plans for an engine compartment extension for the leman russ.
I think I've given all the right measurements, let me know what you all think.
@ Boba Fett: The head of the Acolyte on the right is from the Empire "Celestial Hurricanum" I picked up all the wizard-y characters from that kit from a bits seller. The body of that model is from the same kit.
@ Dr H: the suitcase was the scion kit's medic case, no real idea what else it could have been used for. I'll check my pile of decals.
@ deadmeat85: This should (fingers crossed) work: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/1204davis/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
that is the 4th time I've tried to set international postage on ebay....
Cheers all

Hey Dakka,
Not much modelling in the time I've been away, most of my time has gone into casting these:
I've made 10 so far and have 20-30 more to make. Needless to say if anyone is interested in one or preferably several feel free to send me a PM.
Also I need to remake the molds for this since they are starting to suffer a little, and the resin is starting to attack the molds.
A little progress on the earthshaker. This is the rotating mount, the gun is held in with white tack. It needs more surface detailing on the sides, I might magnetise the gun mount some how and add a little more armour plating to provide cover to the crew.
Finally bothered to assemble a second turret for my ragnarocks and get started on the destroyer / thunderer variant.
If I ever manage to finish them.
@LDD: Good luck with the template.
@Big H: No way am I making those! A Ketten you say? I'm' already half way to having my towing vehicle built.
I already had these made so I just need to start building up from that.
Meanwhile It's time to brush some dust off my paintbrush and find where I put my green and grey paints.
Thank you.

On the first one, did you mean the hulls or the guns? Both are of interest.

Just the Pholus rhino conversion kit.
The plasticard bits from here:
Almost a whole tank, minus doors, hatches, a floor...
The guns area little beyond me besides being a bit sick bird.
I had to drill and cut the top open to fit the lascannon power cables in. Something more to fix when I finish the MKII.

Yep, back to the tanks!
I got through most of these on Sunday. Just metallics, washes and touching up to do. Then I can turn my brush on my second basilisk.
Meanwhile however I've got 6 or so molds to make. Fun.
Thanks again all

Your turning into a little one man factory ain't you I swear it won't be long before you have your own company going
I have had a look at the template and figured out what to do (I think ) however I was going to put a couple of tanks together for reference but my glue ran out.
No real biggie nip down to the local model shop ...... which has no glue what bloody use is a model shop with no glue
So having to wait till the weekend now, once I go into town to get some more I will let you know hoot goes

@ monkeytroll: Thanks! Sure thing, just drop me a pm when you are ready, I should (with luck) be back to casting by then.
Yep those tracks on the towing vehicle are mine too.
@ Lone cat: Lol terrain maybe?, but really its a "rhino" sized chassis so it can do whatever a rhino'd do.
@ LDD: Good luck with that, if you ever get around to making it! It keeps slipping off my priority sheet, I might actually make the templates whenever I focus for long enough to try it.
@DrH: Don't jinx it dude
After 5 hours, spread out a bit, of cutting up old molds the prep is finished for the molds finally, silicone time!
I be thinking of entering the current league contest, so much awesome work there already, 6 weeks left ... yea I can do a 12" wall with the junk I've got lying around.

Procrastination has treads
So these 3 Cyclopes sort of happened and not in a "when a mummy tank and a daddy tank love each other" way.
I have an urge to make a fourth and remake the cover of the Abbey Road Beatles album
Also had a start on detailing the earshaker gun mount, just bulking out space for gearing etc.
Despite proclaiming my hatred of the taurox, nearly, to random people in the street when it was released, I will now be getting one, and here is why:
http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?44630-Taurox-are-the-best-models-ever
the tracks are perfect for rapiers. And it gives me an excuse to place an order with Victoria Lamb's minitures.
@ Jape: Thank you.
Back to casting
Thanks all.
