Discussing 'the rules' (as we understand them and one dude has cobbled together along with a love of Battletech) in the RRT thread is... it's painful, guys.
Jokes on you. I'm just flat out crying.

I'll be doing some updates later today with more unlocks. I'll also cover the project deliver dates, it addressed a bit in the risks section but knowing that this is the internet there's a subset of people who never read, they just look at shiny pictures and click buttons
We're something to the effect of 350% of the initial goal and closing in on 400% pretty quickly so that will slow things slightly given I can only do so much work at once which I know I've conveyed (and all the present company understands). The oddball people that don't understand the nature of a boutique business or are expecting typical big box KS fare can lump it as I simply can't deliver the same volume of output that those bigger companies can. So I have to focus on the quality of my output, I'm entirely content that I offer a good product at a competitive price and at a very reasonable delivery estimate.
If some people don't get that, it's really just their own misconceptions as to what KS is meant to be, and particularly this KS when I've laid it out as clearly as possible. I don't intend for it to appeal to every joe gamer, I'm appealing to the people who understand and support the smaller companies.
Also I can only do one wave of shipping, if it were simply to US backers two waves would be fine, but the international stuff would sink me. I think if I offered two waves for the US then it's raise a stink with the international backers as they might get a bit miffed that others were getting their stuff ahead of them, regardless of the insane logistics involved.

Resin is like crack and meth having a super baby. When I get in my casting groove I can go for 14-16 hours a day, but coming off of a week long stretch of that is horrible. I'm fine while I'm working but I get either very light headed or the worst headaches you can imagine once I stop (and ocassionally nose bleeds) and it takes me a couple days to wind back down to normal energy levels as I get hyper to the point where the whole world seems to vibrate constantly.
Strangely I can identify all too well with some aspects of the wolf of wall street, except in my case I wasn't making money during all the insanity, instead everyone was trying take it from me

I believe it was toys with built-in magnets.

"The Federal Government has announced a permanent ban on small, high-powered magnets used in certain novelty items marketed to adults.
The magnets can cause serious injury or death if swallowed or inhaled by children."
Loose magnets seem to be fine.

The magnets they were referring to were the round rare earth magents that are used for desk display sculptures that are about a quarter of an inch up to two inches. Some of them have spacer bars in between. Due to the size they are really strong and some dumbasses at some point left their kids unattended and the little bastard kids ate them. In addition to be choking hazards, when swallowed then can snap together inside the intestine tract with a huge amount of force and cause the walls to get pinned in between and tear, a few kids have died from internal hemorages. Rather then dismissing 3-4 deaths as Darwin Awards the outraged parents decided to push law makers to make them illegal rather then admit to their own hand in accountability.
Have something dangerous? Don't leave it in reach of a child.
Somehow our grandparents generation made it through just fine when they virtually handed kids razorblades and rusty barbwire for toys, the difference was back then people had some personal accountability and didn't expect everyone to hold their hands on their way through life.

The Combat Patrol tier works great for NorAm and Neo-Bloc; less well for Blackfrost. Once we unlock the Wolverine and the Assault Patrol tier, it might be easier to pry a few more pennies out of me.

I am wondering about something with less or without light mecha given there are no Blackfrost mecha.
Also, can we expect a Blackfrost deck and M-weapon packs?

3 heavies and 6 mediums.
The "we don't need no stinkin' recon" tier.
Edit: though on further thought, I suppose a heavy and 2 mediums could work, the the ability to just add on lights if one wanted too.
And not that every combo needs to be its own tier. Lots of variables and possibilities present with the set up as it is.

Recon by levelling city blocks to ensure nothing could be hiding behind them?

There's that.
There's also:
"Charlie 2-1 to Charlie Actual. Enemy encountered. 3 Light NorAms."
"Charlie 2-1 Roger. Sending backup."
"Charlie 2-1 to Charlie Actual. Don't bother. I got this. Give me 30 seconds and I'm back on patrol."
