Mills sniffed loudly and wrapped his blanket tighter around himself. This planet was miserable. Always raining. Permanent cloudy skies and a terrible wetness that permeated everything. Mills sighed and looked up and down the line. Everyone looked just as miserable as him. Huddled in groups shivering or moving about, trying to get the blood pumping.
He missed his home. A sunny Agri-world where the work was hard but the feeling of accomplishment was high. Here, on this drowning ball of mud... harder work for no accomplishment.
The fighting had ground to a stand still in the last day as the rain picked up. Aside from the occasional mortar, the rebels seemed to be as beaten by the weather as he was and everything slowed down. The worst was when the sun set and the chill set in. At least one person in his platoon froze to death in the night. He grew weary of sitting or kneeling and chose to lay down, never to rise again.
Mills leaned forward and peered up, looking around his makeshift tarp that had been cut from the charred remnants of a tent. The clouds seemed dark and angry. He sighed and sat back again. His mind dwelled on his home. Large fields of grain, gently swaying in the breeze, the sun on his face. He sighed and opened his eyes again and was greeted by the same dreary everything. Then, as he watched, the clouds parted briefly and the sun peered down through the clouds before being engulfed again. Mills smirked.
"There are worse places..." he muttered as he lowered his helmet and shut his eyes. At least here, in his little home away from home, he could get some well needed rest.

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
Look at that! Not only are there 2 updates in one day!!!
But I also hit double digits in my pages! That's awesome!
But I couldn't do that without my followers. So thank you all, so much for the support.
Now lets get to the minis!
As promised, I got some spray primer.
And with it I primed up my ADL for detail and vandalizing. Cuz... let's face it, the Chem-Dogs will tag that with reckless abandon.
But for now it looks downright pretty.
Now! How many of you remember this guy from page 2?
Well, my buddy Boggs got himself a night little smattering of paint last evening.
And lookit that, he's still wearing the awful orange he was assigned.
Poor guy. That was the rule he chose to follow?
I also made some progress on Tanis!
Look at that! She's almost presentable!
Still having some issues with lubricant making the painting a bit difficulty. And this is after scrubbing with a toothbrush, warm water, and dish soap for fifteen minutes.
That's all I've got for you guys. As always, thoughts, comments and criticism are welcome.
Thank you all for watching. Subscribe if you enjoy my thread and would like to see more. And as always I will SEE YOU in the next update.

torealis: Yes and no. Its for the current League Contest; Accommodation.
My thinking is that since there is a lot of chaos on the battlefield, your accommodation is what you can make quick, fast and in a hurry. So he made himself a little shelter to stay in. That's all.

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
Look kids! I have an ADL with some paint on it!
So the first thing I did is look at the model. I thought ADLs were metal, but they actually resemble belted stone. So with that in mind I painted them all up like this.
Including the long pieces.
I also decided that I wanted the framing metal to be copper in color.
And I painted the Aquila gold.
And then washed it in Reikland Fleshshade.
Then I washed all the stone parts in Nuln Oil.
Then I turned it around and picked out some of the other metal details in Leadbelcher.
Then I turned my sights towards Tanis and repainted her sword black.
Then I cut some tape like so.
And wrapped it like so.-
So I could paint a little bit of yellow on it like this for all those Necromunda lovers out there.
Then, I.... may or may not have take this bad boy....
And primed it.
And then I finally finished basing all the things I've completed thus far.
Nice right?

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
I started to work on the tank, but then I stopped and thought, I should really wait until I can magnetize it. So... I need one of my beautiful followers to point out a good tutorial on magnetizing a leman russ.
But while I look that up, I decided that I should at least make the tank driver.
Allow me to introduce you all to Bash.
I'm debating cutting off his left hand and turning it around to make it look like some obscene gesture. Thoughts?
Then, I worked on Boggs some more.
I painted his arms and touched up on his helmet and backpack.
Then, I peeled the tape off of Tanis's chainsword. I think it came out real well.
And, I sprayed my brand new squad of females that will be lead by Tanis' sister Kneives (she has not been started yet). They will be played by a squad of Escher Gangers that the wonderful Mecha sent me.
Also in that picture are some extra trappings for the tank to give it that lived in feel.
That's all I've got for you guys. As always, thoughts, comments and criticism are welcome.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look through my blog.
I'm a firm believer in narrative story telling and the competition pieces have to have that since I don't have many things to work with or a whole lot of skill with modelling.
As for more, well, I'm working on it. I only model one night a week, on sundays, so I should have some more stuff to post tonight.

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
So, I started trying to magnetize myself a Leman Russ.
I ordered some magnets which came in last week in good time.
And then I scoped out where I wanted to put the magnets.
And glued two into place on each side. (two for extra holding power.
\
Then I took the autocannon turret (the turret I'm least likely to use) and attempted to follow the magnetizing tutorial I found here on Dakka.
I snipped off the pegs.
And then filled the gap with green stuff.
My greenstuff is old and took forever to knead back into a pliable form.
But after drilling the holes I couldn't get the magnets to fit (I don't have a proper sized drill bit, so I attempted to use a screw. That didn't work. So I filled everything in with green stuff and I'll try getting a proper bit this week.
With that being totally botched, I resigned myself to put the treads on the tanks.
And Bash says to hurry up.

If I was doing it and had a spare I'd cut flip but also cut down between the 2 fingers and try to space apart. Knowing my luck this would either
A- not work
B - result in my cutting through the entire hand
C - as above but through my hand as well
If it didn't work I could just use the flipped spare
That's why I'm practicing on the auttocannons. I'm less likely to use them, but if I can get it to work, then hell yeah!

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
So I decided to take a break from my leman russ until such time as I have a proper size drill bit to magnetize it.
So I decided to paint up some of my Escher gangers.
I introduce to you, my Daggers.
The Daggers are Tanis's Sister's group comprised exclusively of ladies from their home of Necromunda who managed to get themselves arrested and sent to Savlar.
I didnt do much painting aside from their hair and some of their skin.
But I did take some of this here cork.
And cut it up to fill the gaps in the slotta bases and apply some detail that will become rock later.
That's all I've got for you guys. As always, thoughts, comments and criticism are welcome.

If I can scrounge up enough I might make a platoon of them.

Hello Everybody, my name is xXWeaponPrimeXx and welcome back to my P&M Blog!
I got the correct size drill bit!
And with the green stuff crammed in the autocannon turret nice and cured I was able to drill a nice hole clear through it. Which I then stuff a couple of magnets in.
And it works! Quite well. Its not loose or off kilter as far as I can tell.
With that done, I began drilling out all the sponson guns.
Then I rolled up some green stuff.
And crammed it all up in the back of each sponson while make sure it didn't interfere with the rotation.
Then I drilled a small portion out of the back of each gun. And happily glued a magnet into place in each one.
So then, after spraying the tank driver. I looked at the hand.
There had been some discussion hear about cutting it and flipping it around to be insulting. But the wrist position is all off. So all that ended up happening was me separating the fingers a bit.
Oh yeah, I totally finished the chassis as well.
