After I cut my magnets out....

Hello Conscripts!

I have a (slightly late) update for you!!

BEHOLD! The new parts next to the old!



After cutting the magnets free, I cleaned one up and glued it to the inside of the turret itself.



Then I cut a piece of a wire hanger to length...



...shoved some fresh greenstuff into the new barrel...



...and then secured the piece of hanger with superglue.



Voila! the turret is now stable and secure despite being completely unglued.



Next I did some painting, but by this time the night getting on and I was tired from helping my mom who was recovering from foot surgery. So I only got two more star bursts done.





Then I got some liquid greenstuff out and fixed the other barrel's gap.



Next week I will sand it flat again.



And now, just a little teaser of what I'll be working on next.

Good solid progress, parts have worked a treat and it sounds like it is full steam ahead from now.

The barrel gap will haunt you I think. Hopefully the LGS will sort it.

And looking forward to "Next!"

Hey guys, I just got an email from Black Library and I wanted all of you to give your opinion.

Its to write for Black Library.

I kind of want to enter, but I worry that even submitting the idea about my Chem-Dogs will allow them to claim ownership over them.

I also worry that my writing isn't good enough.

What do you all think I should do?

I think you're plenty skilled enough as a writer to write for the Black Library, I say you should go for it!

Go for it. You are more than capable. Just keep an eye on where they are going with it.

I say definitely give it a go, you never know where it might lead, or what doors it may open. So yeah, I say go for it .

I just read your whole thread from start to finish. love your work, your p&m has some really pleasant eccentricities in it. BUT, I think that where you come into your own is your writing, if I'm perfectly honest I wouldn't have read 21 pages of thread if not for the fluff and backstories you put into almost every single guy. 12/10 fantastic stuff!

So you've just been offered a job to write for the MOTHER FREAKING BLACK LIBRARY?! dude. this would literally mean that you would be paid to do something that you love, and have exceptional talent for. please bro, look into it. I will buy every single book you publish.

No update about my models this weeks due to the Easter holiday (I spent most of it cooking), but I did submit my writing sample to Black Library. Keep your fingers crossed.
