preston

clues in the title. Is there anything thats out now that you think needs updating or is there something that you would like to see?

As for myself:

PP

A plastic multi poseable Mechanithralls kit that includes a full unit and a Brutethrall

Generaly more plastic Warjacks and Units. Metal solos and casters are ok but some of the big stuff takes the biscuit

Labour Jacks

A Bilethrall multi plastic kit would be nice

The pHaley models need a drastic overhaul

Kovnik Joe. Need i say any more?

GW

Female IG

Updates on the rough riders-no more space mongols!

less Aquilas and skulls in general. Im getting fed up of removing them

Destroy Failcast

And finally (and yes i am preparing for a total crapstorm in responce to this):

Female SMs [pulls on armour and dives into bunker]

Anyone else?

Free from GW's tyranny and the hobby is looking better for it

For WH40K, I would say plastic SOB. But I guess the upcoming THON kickstarter will give me better things than GW could ever do, so that wish will probably be no longer valid in a week's time...

For INFINITY - THE GAME, I am still waiting for my Haqqislam TAG!

And didn't CMoN want to reissue CONFRONTATION as a game, with all the minis? Or was that just a hoax? Not that I needed any more Confrontation minis but it would be nice to find more people to play with, again.

Currently playing: Infinity, SW Legion

GW:

+IG Regiment (new, or one of the classic metals lines updated)
+IG Female troopers (either as a female regiment like the Zenonians, or just some models to add to the Cadian line)
+Ork Buggies (love Gorkamorka, but those models are OLD)
+Ork Mega Armored Nobs (in plastic)

and, most of all:

+non-Imperial terrain/scenery! Ork buildings, Eldar stuff, Dark Eldar spiky stuff, Necron tombs, whatever. Just some non-Imperial terrain of any sort! This could even be in resin like the Ork Barricades, but for the love of Pete, put something out!

Mantic's Twilight Kin in full plastic!

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

I'd like to see the rackham stuff reissued. I want to put together an Albion army for whfb, and some of the rackham stuff would fit in. No chance of gw releasing stuff for it!

For GW?
Chaos Dwarves becoming part of the main WHFB line or 40K Skaven, both mostly in plastic, would get me buying from them again, regardless of my opinions of the company. I suppose well-done Space Dwarves that lead to well done Chaos Space Dwarves would also have a similar effect.

I think plastic Sisters, Tallarns, and Valhallans would be pretty cool too.

For PP:
More plastics.

+1 to Rackham's return.

A resculpt of the Hungering Darkness. This thing does not look like a soul and sanity destrying eldritch entity with that big goofy grin.

Nekima resculpt in plastic. Big honking model + tiny point of base contact = fail. Ideally just release a new version as a henchman to fix her point cost as well.

Avatars for some more masters.

More victorian steampunk style in general. I feel the wild west elements have sort of taken over.

Some plastic terrain kits similar to GW's. Stunned as I am to say it, I think some of their kits are decent value.

PP

Plastic infantry for PITA to assemble models. Nyss and Halberdiers, I'm looking at you.

Some minions infantry choices that can work for both sub factions. Farrow and Gators need a large shot of new models to add variety, given that they cant cross hire.
More minions in general - colossal/battle engine and warbeast variety.

Some plastic terrain kits similar to GW's.

They have two.

You're going to be waiting a long time for another one.

Personally, I want to see Knight Miniatures get the rights to their Star Wars miniatures back, and do a game with them.

More terrain. Terrain for xenos races would be nice (Eldar, Tau, Ork Konvershun Kitz for CoB plus Orky buildings). Not as horrific as the Castle Greyskull stuff they keep putting out for Fantasy either. A little restraint on the skull side of things is necessary. More fortress types – weapon emplacements and other things for various races (big D-Cannons, Rail Batteries, Kill Kannons, Tyranid spore launchers, and so on).

Better plastic Guard (including female Guard, as the Imperium is a very equal opportunity conscriptor!). Plastic Stormies. More single-frame plastic character models (and no more FineCost).

Plastic Thunderhawk and Warhound Titan.

For GW, I'd like to see:

Re-done, re-scaled plastic cadians, including some females, done by Jes Goodwin.

Plastic Meganobz

Plastic Flash Gitz

Plastic wartrakk\buggy\skorcha kit

More Grots because Grots

More single-figure plastic kits such as the Nurgle Guy they did a while back.

Accessories pack of scarabs that match the ones from the Necron Warriors set, because it's weird to have 2 totaly different looking scrabs if you get the FW ones

Plastic Storm Eagle, which is an awesome looking model, but the kit is... problematic

Plastic Bloodthirster with options

Furies which don't look awful

Xenos terrain, obviously

From FW:

Wazdakka kit in resin

More Cryptek heads and staves and stuff

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And for the love of god, give the people their stupid plastic Thunderhawk already. Make it $300, they'll still buy it. It's like the wargaming equivalent of the Cubs winning the World Series, except if the Cubs were awesome and didn't win just because they didn't feel like it.

Goes together really, really poorly. There are some serious fit issues with the rear assault ramp and the fuselage of the plane. The fuselage portion isn't a huge deal (you really just need an extra set of hands or a good clamp set up) but the assault ramp seems to have required serious shaving and trimming from everyone I know that's worked on it.

Notoriously bad fitting problems. Parts are always badly warped, slightly the wrong size, etc. See this thread for a good example: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/507545.page

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I'd like to see generic 40K terrain kits that are reasonably priced. The kicker is then releasing various xenos Add-on kits, so you can customize your new "walls" or "bunker" how ever you choose.

I want to see Mass Effect Geth in mini form. And some of the Mechs from that game as well.

Also from GW I'd like to see skink standard bearers and musicians.
