Mmmm traditional German cooking. I know where i'm going for dinner.
Had chicken and potato stew with freshly made bread tonight. Spilt half of my first bowl on the floor though and the dogs got it before i could recover anything... Luckily mum always makes tons of it.

We'll be doing ham and mashed potatoes and whatnot. It will be pretty standard Easter food, really.

This weekend was spent visiting the family a couple hours away and Friday night was homemade pizza, with olive oil and garlic as the sauce, fresh, top quality mozzarella and broccoli sauteed with garlic and red pepper. Best pizza I've ever had. Dad is a phenomenal cook.
Last night was a Thai red curry dish (they liked what they saw when I made it last week) and we just added stuff (still very delicious).
Tonight will be a roast pork tenderloin with garlic and herbs rolled up into it, served with red mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. I'm certainly lucky this weekend.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Dining with my folks tonight, and my Mother's steak pie is one of my favourite meals.
Last night's Chicken Tikka Masala (Gordon Ramsay recipe) went well. I omitted the star anise, and next time I'll reduce the brown sugar content from 1 tbs to a teaspoon's worth, throw in a cardamom pod or two and see where that gets me. The original recipe was highly recommendable though, I simply tend to prefer savoury over sweet.

Yeah probably the same here, with the added pleasure of gluten being allowed at the table, since my mother and sister are out of town this weekend.
I don't know what gluten is, but apparently it's delicious!

Corpses, Ham is traditional in most of the United States as far as I know, in the Irish community it's time for corned beef and cabbage!

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Growing up when my mom still cooked constantly corned beef was the meal to make for the spring time holidays, every other holiday was usually a turkey, with a ham sometimes subbing in at christmas. Turns out I'm like the only person in my family who enjoys ham. Which is lame because ham is delicious.

Since it's in the low 60's today, I do believe I'll be grilling some brats and rosemary potatoes. The best part of spring/summer is the amount of grilling/barbequing I do

Me and the lady went to Atlantic City last night so I could throw away $200. But we hit the buffet so my Easter dinner consisted of prime rib, ham, roast turkey, fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, fried shrinps, some unknown fish with a creamy gravy on top, and mac & cheese!
Yeah, we were hungry.

Ooof. I don't even want to talk about ham. I have roughly two pounds my parents made me take after Easter this year.
I was a fat kid and went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Blues/Wild game tonight. And heck yeah, Blues won 4-1
