They look good, although personally I'd swap the loyalist heads for chaos ones.

I dont too much left realy, and also i have loads metal minis on witch i have keep orignal heads.

Ah, fair enough then. In that case I'd echo the comment made earlier about using cocktail sticks for spikes.

So I was working some on loyalist dred. I have progress I have made for it interchangeable limbs. I would like to hear some opinions and I have to say that I hate how heavy twin link bolter looks like, I would like to hear some ideas how to possibly change it. I feel like it is not chaosy enogh any ideas besides, chains and spikes?

Well it highly depends on how much effort(and money) you want to invest in him.

But i'd say he could be more chaosy. An easy way would be to add spikes and stuff from the vehicle upgrade sprue spure. If you want to do more you could maybe sculpt additional stuff on him like flayed skin draped on him or a massive chaos banner on his back.

I also don't like the tank tracks on his front. If you want some additional armor plates there why not cut out some plasticard ones? Or maybe add the defiled corpse of a loyalist chained to his front.

Also the predator weapons are to large. I would shorten the lazcannon barrels slightly and maybe replace the muzzles with those chaos gargoyles.
For the heavy bolters i would remove the ammo belt on top and cut away the part in the middle. You probably need a hand saw to pull it off but if you are carefull and sand it smooth both parts should be able to sit on top of each other.

And while i'm a fan of magnetization i would try to put the magnets into and not on top of the pieces. The gap between the torso and the arms looks kinda strange. Just drill into the pieces and glue the magnets in. You probably have to carve it open as your magnets look to large for normal drill bits. Open it up and add GS or better a more cheaper putty like Milliput to fill the hole and press the magnet in so that it sits flush with the arm.

Ooh. Ninja'd by the god of greenstuff. Lol. Seriously though, the arms need to fit closer to the body. Budget conversions are possible though. Check my dreadnoughts thread in my gallery. There's a converted AOBR dread in there that cost me pennies.
As for the lascannons. I'd suggest shortening them something like this. Sorry it's a bit crude but its the best I can do on my IPad.

Just like to say thanks to topic creator and those who contributed. I was scouring all over the place for bits to make my Aegis Defense Line more chaotic, but now I can just use tooth picks as spikes and dollar store chains.

I have no clue about plasticard and it uses and I nigh rub down thread to make them look like armour pieces. Personally I am not fond of carring corpses on, vehicles or armours just pieces Also every single bit of infantry is valuable for me. With las cannon I might try, but I am not sure as it is sticked to the ex-missile launcher. THe reason is I am doing this ...I don;t have dreadonaght weapons. I have only at hand predator. I am scavenging in bits bins in many discount places but gargoyles is rare thing. I am also hunting in different shops for original GS, so far I seen it only over internet. I will for now stick to sticks, holding my dread's limbs but later I will magnetize it.

I hate obtaining things on-line I always use it as last resort.

Ihave some spare chaos tank bits you can have for the price of a stamp. If you want them, or more details of what i have, pm me and i'll check. I know for a fact i have, 4 gargoyles and at least 1 faceplate that would fit a dread.

So I have progress on dread arms. I have small dillema about heavy bolter. I don;t know if the ammo box look better below bolter or behind it. Some opinions?

i'd go with it below personally. It looks too long otherwise.

I'm not 100% have with both of them. I agree with tomcat that behind is to long.
But i think that the ammo box sits to low on the other variation and the whole thing is too high. I'd cut the details below the heavy bolter away and most of the ammo box top as well. This way the ammo should sit snuggly tight under the gun and doesn't look out of place.

Hey there people I have few questions, again. Sorry for asking them but I am quite new to this so.
No I am not interested in tournaments.

1. Will other player accept CSM dred, Iknow they get replaced by hell brutes.
2: will other players accept transferred imperial guardsmen as cultists.
3. I have fully metal terminator librarian in terminator armour. Should I try to turn him into obliteroator or sorcerer?
4. What I should do with metal scouts? Turn them into cultists or csm?
5: Do you think this colour scheme will work on CSM? I know it looks crap it was my first mini ever painted and is not fully painted, but you get the deal.

The colour scheme looks fine to me, guardsmen make better cultists than the cultist models themselves. as for the dread, there shouldnt be a problem, i field a converted dread and the DV hellbrute, Not sure about the scouts though.

that librarian looks like its the Mephiston mini, might be worth putting him on ebay as he is now only available in finecast, which could make him worth a few quid

This is librarian which I mentioned earlier. Should I try to make out of him chaos sorceror or obliterator?

He might be a bit small for an obliterator, but if you could go ahead and add some green stuff to bulk him out, that'd be great.

I have quite important question reqardlles oncoming chaos suplement, titled" black legion". I know it will bring new rules, campains and loads of I would like to one following thing. Does i have to play as black legion to use thees rules? Would i be allowed to use them on another legions/ warbands.

I'm not a player but i'd think that there isn't a problem. Play with whatever codex you like. As long as your opponent know what is what there should be no problem. And i expect no big changed in the supplements rulewise so as long as you inform your opponent of those changes and your army mostly follows wysiwyg paint them whatever color you like.

It's just the same with non-grey grey knights. They are greys knights whatever color they are painted.

Well as some of you might now, i have few warhammer fantasy lizards, i ve been thinking about turning them into cultists, just give em guns and some chaos icons.What do you think?

Hey I have some progress on cultists already, however I cannot upload pics right now, I will try to send em on Monday. I have also manufactured a new hero, dedicated to khorne this time.

I have also another idea, as my chapter uses what ever they can find, I wanted to give them weapons whihc have same stats as normal csm an imperial weapons, so I ask which xeno weapon s have stats as bolters.

Does the Dark eldar splinter rifle got same as bolters? I would like to know if there is some sort of chart with all weapons.
