Work continues:

The teeth/mouth didn't turn out the way I wanted, tried to correct it but it now looks like he's using pink lipstick. Also the details have blurred despite me thinning everything (and the skin colour is just wash over plain white primer).

And the 2nd prince:

Bit busy during the weekend, but nearly done with the 2nd prince;

Still not happy with how the skin turned out, it looks too 'dry' and 'flakey'.

Oh well, I may re-try it later.

Also finished assembling/priming some Tzeentchian stuff:

Since my flamers/horrors are all the old style models I can use the newer/bigger ones as heralds.

Also my wings for my Plague Drones arrived so after these few Heralds I'll finish Nurgle off!

The herald's clothes were white first, but I couldn't get the shading right, so yellow/red it is!

Need to finish both heralds and base them now, working on 2 heralds on foot as well.

Also received my 4th (and last) Herald of Tzeentch on Disc in the mail. Now I have 4 different ones:

Due to a lot of work taking up my precious paint time I've not made much progress. I'm working on the third Plague Drone right now.

This weekend I'll have a lot of free time and hope to finish the other 6!

After the plague drones, 2 more tzeentch heralds and then a bunch of screamers (I think I have 20 or so in a box somewhere).

Gotta play the screamerstar to see what it's about!

Still working on 2 more plague drones, but I also received this in the mail:

I wanted a 2nd skullcannon but couldn't find a metal hellcannon cheaply but this popped on Ebay at a good price. Stripped fairly decently by the seller it is about the same size as my metal hellcannon/skullcannon.

Wow I have one of those. I always wondered if it was controlled by deamonic possession or if they somehow cram a marine in there.......

Still have to decide what colour to give to the triangles and skulls on the sides. Don't want to use TOO much gold.

Paint them as an off white. Gives it variety and yet keeps it simple and nice.

Also, I had time to go the store and buy some of the green paints I needed (which is why we had a Khorne-ish intermission).

I can now start on the last 2 plague drones.

Also, with the exception of a Nurgle Prince that is still to arrive in the mail, I am done with Nurgle for now. Onwards to Tzeentch!

.. is what I'd like to say, but I promised myself I'd get started on the huge pile of terrain I've bought over the last 2 years and paint some of it at least!

Not really what I wanted, but MDF is a fiddly thing to paint I have found out! I wanted a more gritty look to the walls but alas..

Working on some ruins now. I bought an Imperial Sector cheaply a while ago and it was gathering dust in the closet. So I promised myself I would use it!

I thought I had the balcony level with the rest but I was off a little. Oh well. It IS a ruin after all!

Got a new camera, took a picture of a model. Due to the high res it somehow seems more blurry than the previous.
