130 car pile up- cancelled my dang Bob Seger concert and shut down most of the roads today because we are getting nailed with tons of snow still and no spring in sight
I need to move somewhere that has heat at least a day or two a year.

Send some our way. The only places that get snow in Oz is a few of the mountains. I'd love snow purely for the fact i could peg snowbals at my brother.

Closest we can get here is the frost in the freezer and it's probably not as fun.

Our freezer frost got so bad once it started to absorb the packet of brown sugar we had in the freezer.

You know it's bad when the Canadians are complaining about the snow.

Nope, it's still snowing here mind you I live in interior BC so it's not truly west coast.

Yeah, the coast (well, the island in particular) is in the +'s, about +10 for highs, with some rain.

We have had very little snow this year.

That is really good for chicago, though last year about this time it was around 80F (thats like 26C) It was great!

though this year it was not that warm, around 28F (-2C)

We've gotten some decent snowfall here! First white christmas we've had in over a decade!

We've just been getting snow squalls the past 5-6 days or so. Nothing really accumulating, but it makes Burlington drivers even more terrifying than they normally are! (which is bad enough that myself & the other GW staff once tried to nominate the entire city for Canada's Worst Driver...) What's been really horrid here has been the freezing temps. I hate living along the great lakes - no matter which way the winds come from, it's always coming across the lake and thus it's damp as feth and can make -10 feel like -30!

We've had a couple good dumpings this year, though NOTHING will ever compare to January '99 when the Preem declaired a state of emergency and shut down the lakeshore corridor.



Still, I can't help but think that this weather is on to something... only 8 more sleeps and then Winter is Coming!

It doesn't get /that/ hot in Texas. You need to go to Arizona for that!

We wish Mary was half as funny. Forecast here is rain/sun/snow/wind/hot/cold.... in the next 48hours.

I've been enjoying my first Mid-West winter, and having different seasons. Its made a nice change from rain, warm rain, cold rain, effing cold rain

We have about 2 inches of snow here and everything has gone to pot. Public transport is off, shops are closed, people aren't going out. Just be glad you live in a part of the world that doesn't metaphorically curl up in the fetal position and cry when there's the weather gets bored of rain.

In Colorado a forecast like that is good for about twenty minutes!

North texas sucks, last week was nice 80F

Today it was below 50
