So, anyone else as bored as I obviously am?
Hah, I haven't been privy to that fun little KS mini-game, I was one of the mad gits in North America who decided to stay up until 5-6am to grab a $140 EB on day one. Sometimes my insomnia comes in handy.
I set an alarm.
Bah, sleep is for the healthy and well adjusted! Your ways make you soft and also deny you the ability to smell colours after being awake for more than two days! Where am I? Whose skin is this?!?!
*Ahem*
Sorry, there appears to be a horde of spiders invading from inside the walls, be back in a second. *the sound of drywall being punched through*

The bogos are WAY better deals, IF you want the extra models. They are doing 4 for hte price of 3 for the faction boosters. This is great for completionists trying to get every model. The BOGO faction booster BUNDLES are 15 models a piece. So you could spend 60(was 80) to get all of the specialists for completion, or 50 for two sets of 15 models, or 100 for four sets of 15 models etc.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I didn't get up early myself because I surely did not know this was coming! Slow with the news much? But oh well, I wouldn't be playing the early bird game anyway, went to assault a ways back and haven't looked back!

So I've got another question. Someone replied to my last post saying that I could do a post-KS pledge through PayPal, how would that work, and how long do I have to do it?
So I don't need the extra models, they look to be what I already get, which means that the 4/3 bundle is better for me if I just want the boosters?
Armies: Space Marines, IG, Tyranids, Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Dark Eldar.
I am the best 40k player in my town, I always win! Of course, I am the only player of 40k in my town.

I would say so. $60 gets you the round robin with no doops.

Not really if you know someone who might want to buy them or just to have them for WarPath. You get 10 more models for 10 less dollars so unless storage is somehow a problem worth spending $10 more to avoid, I'd go with the $50 BOGOF booster bundle.

The 4 Boosters for 3 is 60 dollars for 4 packs, coming to 15 dollars per booster.
The BOGO Booster pack is 50 dollars for 6 packs, coming to 8.33 dollars per booster.
However, you're getting a lot of duplicate models in the BOGO packs. If you only want one of everything new, then the 4 Boosters for 3 is the deal you want. If you want the best deal/most stuff, the BOGO packs are your answer.
I personally feel that the extra 40 dollars for 2 BOGO packs is worth it, but that's just my opinion.

That's how I am understanding it, can someone check and help me figure out whether or not that is correct.
Defining "new" as "not in the starter":
Single Boosters: 1 - 5 new models - $20 2 - 10 new models - $40 3 - 15 new models - $60 4 - 20 new models - $60 - Buy 3 Get 4th Free.
Booster Bundle 1 - 10 new models, 5 old models - $50 2 - 20 new models, 10 old models - $50 - Buy One Get One Free
Edit: Also what MasterSlowPoke said; if you're a completionist only $60 for all 4 factions, if you want a goodly number of units for WarPath or variety, booster bundles

A post campaign pledge manager means that after the campaign closes, you will be sent log-on information for a system where you specify what additions you want (since if you, for example, pledge $200 on a $150 pledge level, they need to know what extras the $50 is covering).
At that point you will be able to add to your pledge, and pay them by paypal for the overage.
You might even be able to get into the post campaign if you message them now (or immediately after), as they know not everyone has a credit card that works with Amazon's system.
Alright and the Kicktraq day finishes out with $76k, 187 new backers and, erm, 2525 comments (mostly about food...).
So that means it was the second best cash intake and third best backer intake in the campaign. I hope by the final hour we can revise that to 4th and 5th best respectively (because of crazy good Sat/Sun numbers).
It also leaves us only $14k off of $800k so for those of us who are currently experiencing night, it will likely be a nice morning treat to wake up and see that we have surpassed it.
Can't wait to see what the final units in the Asterian/FF boxes are.

Four sprues, one connector sprue. Each sprue has (I think) eight "slots" in which tiles are fitted. Haven't seen the tile makeup of the expanded sets yet.

Glad to see we're almost at $800k, this is flying!
Edit: A lot of you had concerns about the connectors on the plastic terrain.
Mantic has just got the first prototype sprues back from the factory, and here's a video with Ronnie showing how the connectors work, snapping the terrain together and taking it apart:
Looks it holds together really well, even if you don't bother to use 2 connectors per wall edge and just use one.
Hopefully that puts people's minds at ease about what the engineering on them will like.

Just increased my pledge to $625 with the possibility of another increase if I can get a few more friends on board. They need a 4x strike team option for $500.

Ronin_eX wrote: Yeah, exclusives are kind of a bummer. Though Mantic's handling of them is one of the better ones.
So I'm not too put off by it (and hey, it worked for me and got me to upscale to $500) because they are less wasteful about it then a one-time KS exclusive that will never exist again.
Put simply if Dreadball had exclusive MVPs that would not have been avalible afterwards I would have deleted my pledge and played something else. I have no interest in a game that when I try to get others to play and they ask where can I get x player from the rulebook the answer is sorry you can't. No problem with alternate sculpts, but for a fairly unique product line like dreadball it would have been a deal breaker. However something like zombiecide which is a boardgame with no play against somebody else with there set of models requirement I wouldn't care. As it doesn't impact the game (unless of course they are in the rulebook but not in the box, that is just irritating.

Remember. If its broken up, we run the possibility of more scenarios written!! Seeing how crazy this thing got when the states got active yesterday, we might see a similar or even greater explosion today!

THIS IS A MONSTER!
Update #73 · Jun 1, 2013 · 11 comments
Holy Moly this is insane – this is a MONSTER! What a night.
Not only have we:
a) Secured the Rebs Faction Booster
b) Secured the Solo Play and A.I. deck rules
c) Got a brand new scenario added to the Nexus Psi campaign - next one at 4,000 backers!
We’ve also just smashed through our latest goal, the Marauder Faction Booster!
$800,000 – Marauder Faction Booster
The Marauder Faction Booster adds more character and variety to the faction starter by introducing some brand new specialists to the battlefield. With an Assault Commando Sergeant, Marauder Pyro, Goblin Weapons Team (and we’ll throw in the obligatory Marauder Hulk) the Marauder faction booster is chock full of cool new figures.
Marauder Faction Booster - Work in progress art! (The assault commando art is old and the model will NOT feature a loin cloth. Finished Art coming soon!)
The Marauder booster is now unlocked and available to add on for $20.
Don’t forget that it’s Buy any 3 Boosters get the 4th free – and with the passing of this stretch goal, the first four are all now unlocked!
This also means that all of our Booster Bundles are available to add-on now as well - and they are Buy One Get One Free! We’ll work on getting the home page updated.
Up next!
$810,000 – Asterian and Forge Father Upgrades
This one’s been hanging around our heads a little but it’s time to bring the Asterian and Forge Father Faction Starters up to speed with the others! If we hit this goal, we’ll add in more troops to the expanded universe factions, namely:
1) 1 Cypher with Flux Rifle and 1 Warden with Charge Glove to the Asterian Faction Starter
2) 2 Brokkrs to the Forge Father Faction Starter
$825,000 – Codename Oberon, Nameless Mercenary
If we hit this goal, we will sculpt and tool Project Oberon, the Nameless Spy. We will include him free in game pledges of Recon ($100 and Early Birds) and up!
After this...
Then we’ll move on to two new goals – new Faction Boosters anyone?
