"Games Workshop is pleased to announce to our fans today that we will be introducing the 7th edition of Warhammer 40,000 after the general consensus by the players of our game that the rules had become stale and boring.

Join Games Workshop as we bring back the excitement of those original days of Warhammer 40,000 and re-introduce the original Rogue Trader rules revised for a new generation.

Think the enemy army is overpowered? Why not bring a Vortex Grenade.

Wish you had better wargear? No problems, your squads roll for what they get.

Best of all, the original line of Games Workshop models for Warhammer 40,000 will all be re-introduced as FINECAST, our most exceptional product ever introduced.

Stay tuned for more previews of 7th edition, coming later on this week. "

They are not even funny or believable.

That's ironic: people who diss other people having fun bore me. You know it's a fake thread: ignore it.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Funny, a cpuple years ago, GW's April Fools posts would have been humorous. I understand why they didn't do one this year, the wailing and screamkng would have been intense.

Lol, would be nice if GW actually had a sense of humour.

That and whatever joke they came up with would inevitably make more business sense than their actual policies.

The one they did 2 or 3 years ago with the Air Brush that "magically" did all of the work was pretty silly.

But I haven't seen a funny April Fools joke in a long time.

I rather liked their "How to Throw Dice" book, that one really took the cake.
