Hello, I contact this seller (name removed) on March 15, 2013 about doing a trade. He was looking for some new Tyranids and he had various things for trade including some Dark Angels, some SM tanks and some Imperial Guard vehicles. He preferred to trade me an IG Valkyrie and after pictures were exchanged I immediately shipped my items to him. On March 23rd I received a PM from him saying that his girlfriend had shipped my item(s) to Orlando instead and that they would be back at his place on Monday (March 25th) and then he would ship the package out to me on Tuesday and include some extra items in my package for my trouble. That was the last day I ever heard anything from him. I have now sent him text messages, emails and even left him a voicemail and have never gotten a response back from him.

See updates below. Bouree77 has contacted me to complete the transaction.

I also had a bad experience with bouree77. Made a deal with me, then never shipped and never answered my messages. Called him out on his thread and lied about sending me messages.

This is what scares me about these sites but I'm about to do my first trade and I am new to this site so I hope for the best. Here goes nothing.

Trade rep is valuable for a trusting situation. This is why we have the whole report.

Just heard from the trader. He said that he'll be getting my items in the mail to me ASAP. I'll post additional information into this report as updates come in.

I did a deal with somebody in February and I didn't get my minatures till like LATE March.

I defeneatly did not go out here and start complaining because if you thiknk about it March 25th and April 4th that being today is roughly 7 days.

Now don't get me wrong , United States Postal Service is not the quickest way of delivering things, if somebody didnt package things up right away, or they didnt have it ready, or maybe they have a full time JOB they have to attend 8 - 4:30 and the post office is far away, you are looking about about +(-) 3 days for somebody to get their stuff together.

Now that being siad, standard delivery like that I would assume takes 4 - 10 days, you have to include the size of the pacage , how far is the place they are sending it from to a real HQ for USPS, there are a lot of factors.

So next time you go accuse somebody make sure you receive or at least inquire a trackign number from them, instead of coming here and venting.

The wargaming community is very tight and fair, there are only few untrustworthy people, as folks above said.

1. Search username in forums if they have +1 reps
2. verify that they are not a brand new user just trying to scam somebody

The problem had nothing to do with the shipping. If you read the post at all you would have seen he still hasn't shipped it after being messages, called, and texted. He only now sent a message after a trade report was filed, he didnt do it when ghost asked about it in his thread, he waited until their was a transaction report.

The same thing happened to me, we made a deal, he disappeared off the face of the earth until I called him out in his trade thread.

So next time you accuse someone of jumping the gun read the post first.

Also, I ship fom Florida to California at least one a week, and a bunch of other places too and the only time it's taken more then four days through usps was when there was a hurricane, or the package had the wrong address. Yes, things happen but not to the extent that people make it out to be.

I'm an adult and I've been buying and selling on the internet since there has been an internet and let me tell you something. If you and I were working out a deal 3 weeks ago and you were texting me pretty much night and day until the deal was worked out and then a week later after I've already put my stuff in the mail you no longer reply to my texts I'd say that something suspicious was going on. Thus the reason for this report.

It's not the fact that the package has not arrived, its the fact that the seller told me that he would ship the package to me almost 2 weeks ago and the package is not here AND the trader hasn't texted me back since March 23rd. I'm a pretty easy going kind of guy and all I was looking for here was some communication.

Looks like due to this report the lines of communication have been reestablished and I'm looking forward to having this trade completed.

Whats funny is I was working out a deal with xghostmakerx on some custom spores for some tyranids and even built up some prototypes for approval. When you said you wanted them you disappeared off the face of the earth. I then messaged you again about how many you wanted you said you still wanted them I told you I could do them for about $10-15 a piece you disappeared again for a week. Then I asked if you still wanted them and you said yes I told you price and you again stopped responding. SOOOO I think you could be a little more patient with people since you yourself are the same way. Had I been foolish enough to mail them off I would be in your situation.

How about we stay on target here. If you've got some problem with a transaction that we were working on but never completed Tyrius why don't you go ahead and open your own transaction report about me?

I'm telling you a week is not grounds for a bad trader report. If he says he would ship in a week and didnt. You didn't actually include any of your transactions here that they even occured or a timeline. Its you flinging mud after a week. I just gave up dealing with you. That is my bad trader report. I have several successful trades on here and another trade site that alot of members here use and you are the only person I have dealt with that was negative in any regards. I wasted alot of my time and effort building you spores and had you just ignore me.

Ok I realize that some people think I opened the Transaction report hastily but lets look at the timeline below:

March 15th - I emailed other party to work out a transaction. Multiple emails went back and forth and then we switched to texts.
March 16th - Trade was finalized
March 18th (Monday) - I ship. Other party reported he would ship out Mon or Tuesday (18th or 19th)
March 20th - My package was delivered to his house (I tracked it via USPS.com)
March 23rd - Other party told me that his g/f accidentally shipped package to Florida and that package was supposed to arrive back at his place on Mon or Tuesday (March 25 or 26)
March 24 - March 31 - 9 days of no communication
April 1 - I texted asking for an update (twice)
April 3 - I texted asking for an update
Arpil 4 - I emailed asking for an update (9:34) AM)
April 4 - I texted asking for an update (9:36 AM)
April 4 - I called him asking him for an update (11:24 AM)
April 4 - I opened transaction report (11:31 AM)
April 4 - Other party PMd me (2:05 PM) and told me that he would be sending the items.

I am glad that the other trader has contacted me to make things right and I'm sorry to hear about the death in his family.

I would appreciate no more random comments in this thread until this is resolved. Thank you

Dammit, I traded him too, and communicated via text & everything. Just saw this thread and ...sigh. I sent Hive Tyrants, Gaunts, Gargoyles and quite a few other things. Trading for some DE & Valkyrie, probably same one traded for above?

I guess I'll go reread the Swap Shop guidelines to go forward, although it's only been a week so far.

Update: he promptly called, and seems to be taking care of me! Things square with the OP's version, will update once complete.

Sounds like he's had a change of heart from his PMs to me yesterday promising to send my stuff out today and make it right. I suggest that anyone else that has a deal going on with him to contact him and find out where their items are. He still has not responded to my phone call, emails or texts.

GmanV2., he's decided to send me back my half of the trade so that means you might get the Valkyrie that he promised to both of us. I've got a picture of the one he promised me and I'd be curious if it was the same one he promised you.

It is impossible to own more than one mini these days folks.

Those involved, look at the other recent TRs. We can do almost nothing here, but what YOU can do is file a police report.When multiple people do, it gets their attention quickly. Nothing like a policeman knocking on someone's door to get them to return toy soldiers.

I suggest you coordinate via PM or here to try to talk to the same officer, if you really want to get your items back.

Everything will be shipped Saturday the 11th.

Bouree777, thank you for updating. Is there some reason why you cannot ship this Saturday instead? It would be beneficial to everybody to have this resolved quickly...

I know for one I'd love to get my items back but I'll believe it when I see it.

Last contact from the seller to me told me that he was going to ship my items back to me on Saturday. That communication from him was on APRIL 9th which means my items should have been in the mail to me on Saturday APRIL 13th.

Looking forward to have my package shipped back to me tomorrow, May 11th as per bouree777's posting. I'll be expecting a tracking number. I'll post back sometime next week with further information.

Well look at what happened to this Ahriman085, if you don't get any joy keep on it, he just got his arrest warrant served to him, stealing minatures isn't worth a criminal record.

I received many messages promising shipment, if they won't supply a tracking number after they've shipped start getting suspicious. And for those reading this, look at this thread and look at the other one on this page, don't trade with people without a good reputation unless they will ship first. Otherwise you lose an army like I did

Well, I didn't get a text or tracking yesterday, just texed him to check on status a last time, if not, then I guess we'll all be filing pretty quick.

I shipped him a Tervigon, 12 Gargoyles, 16 Termagants, 3 Ripper Swarms and 16 Gene Stealers...as well as lotsa Nid bits.

He told me my things were to be shipped on the 11th and I've yet to hear back from him or recive a tracking number.
