Hey does anyone know of a way to get multiple units of tac marines to infiltrate? Using the vanilla codex I was trying to come up with something. Is there an hq from a forgeworld book that replaces combat tactics for infiltrate or something similar?

Not to my knowledge for Forgeworld stuff. Is there any reason you're wanting this for Tacs over Scouts...? Of course they're a bit weaker, but they're a bit cheaper too, without having to take an expensive means to Infiltrate outside the unit itself...

Black Templars have infiltrating Sword Brethren and Command Squads. That's about all I can think of for power armored units.

Thanks guys. I was looking more for something like an army wide infiltrate or such

You could infiltrate with shrike and a unit of 10 jump infantry. Now granted it would't be an army wide infiltrate but it would be enough of a nuesence to get the rest of your army into the fight

Imperial armour 10 has Ahazra Redth the Mantis Warriors Chief librarian that exchanges combat tactics for Infiltrate as well as some other nice special rules

Wolves can take a Wolf Priest or custom Wolf Lord/WGBL with Saga of the Hunter and infiltrate/outflank a squad of GHs (or WG, or BCs)

They can also take Bran Redmaw (FW HQ) who can outflank with a squad of Wolves, and give either BEL or Outflank to a squad of GHs. (I say BEL or Outflank not because he gives both, but because I can't remember what he gives)

Are you going for a theme, or do you have a playing style in mind?

If I may, I'd say just drop pod your marines in. This way you can be closer or farther from your opponent, you can line up meltagun shots on a tank, or get into a position on the flanks that infiltrators could not get. You also don't have to ride the pod down and can deploy on the table, and with the 6 inch disembark, only a really bad scatter would put you in a bad position.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Wolf Lords can't get Saga of the Hunter. Also, it doesn't give them infiltrate. Just Outflank and Stealth.

If you're feeling heretical, play Chaos Marines and use Huron Blackheart's warlord trait to infiltrate D3 units.

Shows how often I use Saga of the Hunter, haha. I've used it once, in a fun game, to outflank a huge squad of TDAWGs. My bad

Redth does indeed allow all SM infantry who havent purchased a dedicated transport to infiltrate. It's EXTREMLY useful and mitigates a lot of our problems with mobility without having to shuck out and deal with mass transports.

He rocks, though as with everything, will become somewhat less useful once gate becomes no longer a garuntee, but we'll see, still awesome.

Drop Pods do a nice job of infiltrating tac marines.

I need to return some video tapes.

From C:SM

Sicarius can give it to one tac squad
Shrike can give it to the unit he joins
Kor'Sarro Khan lets most of the army outflank.

And, of course, scouts and scout bikers.
