Well while they lack for paint, I wanted to show the progress on my 5 Greys that will be part of my pledge. Each of them is different, and I already have another APHMG completed from an earlier pledge who had stolen the basic pose. I know that they are AVA 5 in the CHA sectorial, but I wanted to be able to have either 2 HMGs or just the 1, depending on my mood. Anyway, here we are, spoilered because the pictures are a bit big.
Spoiler:
Grey with Rifle and 2 Light Shotguns (R+2LS), he's my Caine pose (not as dramatic as eCaine, but getting there).
Grey (R+2LS), he's a bit different to the Caine pose, the shotguns are lowered.
Grey (R+2LS) John McWoo
Grey (R+2LS) Regular pose, I did him first and then decided I wanted everyone else different. I don't dislike the pose, I just didn't want a whole unit of this one. Bit blurry, but everyone knows the regular pose.
Grey APHMG

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...
Motyak do you have a scale shot of the hasslefree mini with a regular infinity model? I've been tempted to get some but wasn't sure how they'd scale againsy infinity minis.

I'm 99% sure I have one...pretty sure its beside the boarding shotgun SAS model.
Yep, it was on the last page
Or do you mean with a ruler etc? I can do that too, once I'm done cooking dinner...
He's about half a head taller, but he's also more upright, and in general he's beefier, but not GW beefier, more 200cm tall, 120kg of muscle beefier compared to a normal guy. The head is a bit out of scale compared to the infinity models though, but if you like the model enough (I do) you'll forgive it.

Thats pefect. Hadn't noticed it before. I suppose i should pay more attention. The SAS is a bit shorter than most infinity models anyway so the haslefree stuff looks to be spot on. Hmmm, even more tempted now!
@Motyak just checking the hasslefree minis come with two weapon options right? The bodies they sell separately also come with their own weapons so you will always end up with an extra weapon. I suppose it could be useful for conversions.
If you buy one of the 'named' modern trooper (Hassle, Demon etc) they come with extra arms. I have 4-5 of these guys now and they are really good stand ins for SAS (Balaclava head) and Chasseurs (head with the cap). I'm currently converting up one with the helmet to be another Tankhunter APHMG.
I want in. Here's my pledge:
I will have my Asura conversion completely painted by the end of the year.
Sounds easy enough, but I know myself.

PDH: "Yeah Bloody Baiyuan's Bloody eye for detail . Bet he doesn't sig that one"
PDH: "I'm not saying anything that you might sig against me. Made that mistake before!"
PDH: "Thanks for joining Dakka and spoiling us with your work. "
Don't feel bad, I completly didn't get mine done lol. Between a bad priming and uncooperative models, I had tor eplace the entire box, and reassemble them (much better this time), and grab more airbrush paints.
Is anyone interested (or re-interested) in seeing this thread revived? I notice it hasn't been deleted or locked, but it certainly hasn't seen much action of late. If we just want this to die please ignore the following. Otherwise I would like to read/see everyone's 2015 Infinity goals and see some pledges get made!
The new year combined with N3 and the gorgeous new sculpts has revitalized my want to have miniatures assembled and painted. And games, I want to play lots and lots of games.
My lofty goal/resolution for 2015 is to have fully painted 100 Infinity models by the end of the year I currently have completed 4 (well almost). Other resolutions I hope not to break is to update my P&M blog sometime every weekend with an update on what I have accomplished or learned about painting, modeling, or just taking the first few steps into actually playing Infinity. So those are the big two I am going to try very, very hard not to fail on for 2015.
For my first 2015 pledge I am going to:
1) Properly base and photograph the 3 Fusiliers from O:I that I recently painted for my brother's PanO army so that they will be fully complete.
2) 2.5 Nomads painted/based. I have a .5 one still remaining from a long, long time ago. July '13 actually. So sad.
3) Clean/Assemble at least 10 models.
I want to do this and make an update proving it in my P&M Blog by Sunday, 11/01/2015.
I'm currently working on some civilians to use in missions, after which I have a few vehicles (terrain pieces), and after that I'm aiming to do my PanO troops (if I can decide on how to base them, I'm currently torn between 2mm tall clear bases and resin ones).
I'm hoping to work on my airbrushing skills along with painting hair and cloth in a more realistic manner.

It's easy to get involved: Just post a message stating what you pledge to do and when you aim to do it by, then, when you complete your pledge, just post another message telling us how it went. If you can provide pictures at the beginning and/or the end then please do although this is not a requirement. I also encourage you to create a P&M Blog to showcase your work and announce your updates here.
Rehash of the rules also located on page 1 (ignore my failed pledge from 2 years ago )

Here is my entire painting for 2015 laid out, Kasym Beg is the final component. The only unbuilt models I have are LE Penny and the ABH, and the only ones I buy will be any that come with a book. Nothing else atall until everything here is tabletop at least, and then somewhat better.
Pic is very zoomable in the gallery if anyone interested, I know I have a very cartoony approach compared to most.
Michael Bishop wrote: Link to blog please Darkjim. Do you need to do work to all those models, or just the ones mostly on the right side of the photo?
Haven't got a blog, just the pics in the gallery below. The ones top left are tabletop done, I will get all the rest but the Nomads from OI to that standard, then try and do a much higher quality job on the Nomads, then apply what I learn with the Nomads to those already finished (as such). The Acontecimento and PanO OI top left are the first that get some effort, they are currently just base coated. Thanks for looking

Well, 0 for 1 on the new year!
1) Almost completed. All but the photos.
2) Not close. I started off strong but petered once I finished the areas of the models I had a plan for. Then I hemmed and hawed on what to do next and somehow it was 4 days later with nothing done.
3) Yes! In fact I probably got closer to 20 models added to the Silver Army.
I'm giving myself a D grade on this one. A fail, but the extra minis assembled was a bonus that prevented an F in my eyes.

No! I'm going big or going home
By mid-year:
- Run an ITS
- Publish my rules for games-masters in Infinity and civilian/police rules within Infinity cityscape (to be fair, these are done bar some photos and diagrams, just waiting for a month or two for the 3rd edition launch hubbub to die down).
