Those clips are AMAZING. Any idea who makes them? Manufacturer's marks?

I wish I knew where these clips came from ,no marks or anything on them. Having scrounged them from the hospital trash I guess they were used to hold the necks of medicine bottles or something along those lines.

I need to think how i'm going to do the rails/walkway for on top of the pipes. will need to do research on those.

The one boss I work with every night tells me "let me know if you see XYZ" when I let him know it a week later he's like . Then I have to remind him and then he's cool with it. Plus anything the idiots do I take pictures of with my phone before anything is said. There's been some doozies. Not as bad as one of the guys I worked with at Lowes. He was told to spray paint the shelf beams in the rug aisle where he had scraped the beams with the forklift . He got the correct color spraypaint, went over and started spraying away. Unfortunately when he hit the beam he had torn labels on the beam, which he hadn't fixed yet either. he sprayed over the labels, over the beam, over the hundreds of dollars worth of rugs still on the shelf, and onto the concrete floor right under the beam. When I came in I was lived . I took a picture of it and walked it up to our boss. I had to show the guy how he should have removed the merchandise, put cardboard under the beam to keep it from getting the concrete, and remove all the labels beforehand so the shelf would all be the same (there were different colors under the labels. You'd think he'd learn, but the next week he did the same in the glass wall tile area and ruined two displays that were brand new and 5-6 sheets of glass backsplash 8-10 bucks a pop.

Note to self/everyone else: He was promoted shortly after this to department manager in a different area of the store , and within a year he became an assistant manager out of state. In the mean time he still cost us a ton of money in doing really stupid thing.

Not where I should be

1) You do not promote you best staff, you need them to do the work.
2) If they have some use, but are impractical, make them management. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and remember, these guys promoting people are from the same stock!
3) If they are of some use, but are impractical, and fail at management, you can sack them in good conscience, because you gave them a go, and at least by promoting him they cut the costs of damages.

Oh and excelent work on the pipes. Love it.

Yeah holding clips for transport of delicate units, still, great for terrain features like that set of huge flow pipes.

I checked again for any makers marks, but the only things on them are a #5 recycling emblem, and a different numbers on each of the two I checked, since the other two were busy holding the temporary structure. One had a number 9, the other had a 12 on it. Really strange. After the kids leave I'll go downstairs and check the other 2 clips. I've done some google searching, but haven't found anything similar.

Trained the "new guy" at work last night , funny as he has six years of janitorial skills and I have zip . But you know he has to learn our way of doing things and NOT the right way. Fun guy to talk to, I get to train him on trash this weekend, so I might find some cool stuff again.

Lots of schoolwork today and Monday to work on, so I'll probably be very productive modeling wise is I hate my class and will procrastinate as much as possible.

Edit: okay only 4 hours of sleep last night, and people keep calling on stupid stuff today, so might as well make stuff

Leviathan house as it stands

Added the IV parts to the girders as ceiling lamps, will have to add wires later

Still needs the safety cage on top to be a scissors lift, unless I just make it a ordinance trolley with lifts.

Workbench with diagnostics laptop

Pile of crates to be stored later

I think I might add a few more things, but probably not till this is all painted up. Now to ponder what colors and where.

thanks guys, yes the IV tube connectors look the part of lights I think.

meanwhile I've spent two hours trying to google the pipe spacers that I found because I WANT MORE. No luck, found some similar items, but nothing as cool. Speaking of those clips I noticed I can actually use them to hold 6 pipes . Yes, 4 1" pvc pipes and 2 7/16" plastic tubes.

And if held upright I think I can use bulkheads to support the structure. this will help me spread out the clips and table space used. Also stood up like this the tips of the holding brackets sit at the same height as the pipe, so this helps to stabilize any walkways that will be set on top of them .

Thanks guys, today was supposed to be daddy son date day. We haven't had much time together since I work nights we only see each other one night a week (school takes the other night), so I promised him lunch at his favorite Chinese buffet. Win win . But when we jumped in my car the brakes weren't working, and that drive is a very busy street. So we turned around in a parking lot that has a Chinese takeout, got our food and went home. After eating we went to check brake fluid level to see it all the way to the top of the container. I noticed part of the engine shroud was melted and then noticed the hose that melted it . Also present was a branch from the tree I "parked" next to during the storm. I guess while I was gunning the engine it threw the branch up into the engine compartment and cut the vacuum line. Luckily there's a parts store behind our house so we got the hose and replaced it. Cheapest repair I ever had $2.67 for 1' of the line and everything is working great now .

I'm on trash duty tonight , training the new guy, maybe we'll find some gold.

Well it fought back better than I thought, went to leave for work and the engine was sputtering and tons of exhaust. It might just be some water/moisture in the new line as we used a little water to wet the tube ends to get it to slide over the tips, or it could be a radiator . Had to grab the new car and force the wife and kids to stay home tonight while I worked.

Throw some HEET or other fuel treatment in the tank and run it for awhile..it'll be good as gold.

That robot hanger's looking fantastic, I love all the little details your starting to add.
As for other idea's you've probably already thought of this, but what about having a large mechanical arm that runs on tracks across the ceiling,
that's used to lift and move robots around the hanger.

Affton, MO. USA

A giant arm would be awesome hk1x1, but there's not enough room sadly. Though it might be a second piece of terrain later.

I dropped the car off at the mechanic, when I opened the hood it was full of leaves. Either an animal is nesting in my engine or someone is trying to damage my car . Either way since yesterday there is some damage to the plugs now and wires that are damaged. If it's an animal I'm having stew. If it's a person......well they better not be gamey.

I had thought of thT for a brief second, but not only do they not know where I live, but they got themselves fired and it wasn't anything that I did. Upon further review, and suspicious teeth marks, it looks like chip or dale decided to build a nest in my engine compartment. They snacked on the wires leading to my fuel pump, the engine coils, brake lines etc. I guess they were renovating the inside of their new abode.

$469.00 later, my car will be out of the shop. Just when we started to make some headway on our debts . Well good thing I've got plenty to keep me occupied, but a second job is probably in the works.

I'm at a loss how to fix the problem. The car is working, but the net says the squirrels will just keep coming back . They've had over a dozen people so far his year (2014 only) that have car problems due to squirrels and chipmunks. Som people say put chili powder in your engine compartment, but I don't want to smell like an old taco . I thought about laying rat traps under my car at night, but my luck would have me step on them in the morning . Anyone with a suggestion?

Well as I the world hadn't pissed on me enough the last two weeks, tonight was a cherry. Car is still running, but the catalytic converter is going out on it too, completely separate from the chipmunk incident, but not critical just now. Got an F on my math test, rightly deserved as I missed the previous class for family time which was needed, it was during the whole we had to buy a car fiasco. Driving home I hit a skunk, maybe that'll keep the chipmunk away. Now I'm just awaiting the next snowpokalypse that's supposed to begin tomorrow . Oh and I go home o the wife telling me the dryer is making a screeching noise .

I'd go to sleep, but I might not wake up with my current luck.
