You know what? Thats actually a really good suggestion Damo, I'm having a rest from Greenstuff , but maggots are definitely on and i'll look at how the burst the flabby arm skin out of the armour, sounds easy enough !

Thanks dude ! Not so special, sculpting nurgle stuff is child's play compared to smooth panels and flowing cloaks !

Today I skived work pretty majorly and built this bad boy to give me a break from greenstuff. Apparently I didn't learn my lesson with the last lot of drop pods I did, at least this one will come apart to paint the inside !!!

Mate , really, my daubings are practically amateur ! Besides you get the stuff I havnt got time for !!!

This lot of nurgle knights are done, little H has more nurgle and a gak ton of Khorne to do but that will happen another day !

Coming along really well Big H. Enjoying your progress along this gritty path.

I love them all!, I wouldn't make love to them all, but they do look brilliantly Nurgle and very very nice all together, such a good palette for them.

Oooo excellent work on the Warriors. Proper grotty.

Really like the palette on these guys, you've limited it to a greenish spectrum but still managed to being enough variation to keep it interesting.

Thanks EvilCheese, bizarrely the initial armour colour was an acrylic wash of dark tan on zenithal white primer, but it went progressively greener unintentionally when i started on the oils, i kept the palette to about 4 or 5 colours but each is slightly different due to the oils.
I enjoyed these, will try get some more done once i get Little H's Wulfen done, in Camo !

Those guys are great. Gross, but great.

Today I had a play with some bits I've been collecting together for a planned "small" force of an Inquisitor and Retinue.
I'm thinking a couple of converted chaos warriors for the Inquisitor and crusaders, a couple of converted chaos cultists, an ogryn and these bad boys, I'm calling these Inquisatorial Stormtroopers, but they are gonna need some work to make them really "fit".
Any thoughts DakkaNaughts ???

They look good. Such a great choice of interesting bits in the Admech range.

Thanks Evilcheese, I agree, the bits are really useful for things like Inquisitors etc. My plan to make "just an inquisitor and a few henchmen" has started to spiral out of control !

Not really an update as such, but I had a bit of a play with some parts and blu-tac again and kinda like this tru-scale Astartes.
I want to build about 10 Death Guard , turned to the dark side but not fully gone all obese and dribbly.

I really havnt put much thought to painting lately, but today Little H wanted to start on some Pre Heresy Sons of Horus, that he wants to use as both Chaos Warriors and Loyalists as he chooses. I did the green with the airbrush and he is responsible for filling in the details !

Also I made a start on some models that have been lying around for ages and again , little H 'needs'. I had wanted the blue on Gandalf the White to be much paler. Is it too dark ?
