That would be the Green Knight. I've always liked that model, and he has got some damn fun rules as well. So now I finished painting him; what do you think?

I owned that model as part of my first army back in '97, still a fantastic piece and you've really done it justice! Kudos!

Thanks a lot, very glad to hear that. Really, I almost think I could start a Brets' army just to be able to play with him (hence the title).

That model is easily my favorite of all time and you have done an ace job on him! I love the details of the cloth, makes me curious how you did those. Was it just all freehand? I also remember we had a GD winner from the store I use to play at in Michigan that painted up the Green Knight. I wish I could find it, if you are a fan of the model you would love it.

@EmperorsChampion - Thanks, and yes, the details are all made in freehand, using a size 1 pencil.

Actually, what was hardest with the making of him was making sure the steed's hooves stayed glued onto the rock...

@Still Standing - Interesting idea, and not a that bad one, IMO.

Thinking of adding a couple of smaller flags on the rods he has on his back, what do you think of that?

I think giving him his back banners would really finish the piece.

He looks ace, I'm always amazed at how well the model's aged.

There; back banners added, and as such piece finished. I fixed some smaller faults as well.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

This is one of those all time classic GW models. This, and the wood elf forest dragon, almost got me into WHFB. Nice work on the paint job, darker than I would have gone, but it looks good

Just thought I'd mention that I have now converted a paladin supposed to have taken the Virtue of Empathy (and thereby standing on foot). Now I will just fix a shield for him and paint him,and he'll be finished.

Like the Paladin, can't wait to see how he comes out after the excellence of the Green Knight.

There, my paladin is finished. Became pretty happy with how he came to look; what do you think?

Haven't decided what to call him though - will have to make up some good name (shouldn't be too hard).

Krieg! What a hole...

You did great with that paladin, sadly I feel like it doesn't fit Bretonnia too well, that armor's too Empire-like and the helmet lacks a giant decoration

Green Knight is top notch

First - thanks. It's just too bad you didn't find the paladin fitting to Brets. The thing was mainly that I liked the look of the Armour of Judgement in WoW, and wanted to make some conversion looking like it. As such, I felt that a paladin would be the most fitting model to look that way...

That Paladin looks great. I am comfortable with multiple interpretations of what type of armor looks appropriate for a Bret.

I am frankly considering starting an army of Brets pretty seriously - just have to get some resources...
