It depends on the situation, in battle everyone above has listed good points. but if your chapter is hunting relics... Blood ravens would be your worst ally, The relics would go "missing" along with half of your armoury .

It also depends where you are.
If I was fighting at night you'd want the raven guard (Black armour - so you wouldn't be spotted)
If the Imperial Fists turn up - would you be the one to say "excuse me mate, your armour is a bit bright - you're going to give us away"
I love the space marine equivalent of camo. (which is to leave your armour exactly as it is.)

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives. |

Flesh Tearers for the reason that they are just a step away from the World Eaters as far as berserk, psychotic butchers go. Marines Malevolent since they don't give a gak about collateral damage, and wouldn't think twice about killing you in the crossfire. Minotaurs because they're just donkey-caves in general.

If anyone would tell you what to do in their terms it is the Ultramarines. Their weakness often is shown to be hubris. The only Space Marine chapter that doesn't tell you is the Imperial Fists, the rest will in more or less polite ways tell you how to wage war.

Anyway, the votes for Dark Angels are ridiculous, IMO. Sure, they might leave, but at least they won't kill you. Marines Malevolent (The only correct answer, all others are wrong) would do so without a moment's hesitation.

Actually it's a case of memetic mutation. The Grey Knights were about to be overwhelmed by Bloodtide an unstoppable Khornate tide of demons, so the Sororitas offered their lives up in order to stop it. Then through ritual sacrifice they all were sacrificed, and their blood with ointments were used on the Grey Knights armour in order to stop the Bloodtide, which it did.
That's the real story re-told in my words. It's actually not half-bad as far as the story goes as i pertains to heroic sacrifice, but since it's written by Matthew Ward I guess it gets a harsher treatment than it deserve.

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Hard to tell anymore, when it comes to Ward hate. Getting way to hard to tell between those who actually believe that and those that are being sarcastic
The SM chapter I play is DA, (Though I did use the C: SM codex back when they were still forced to abide by the 4th edition rules until the FAQ update)

Nah, Corax led a full scale guerilla war on his home planet - strike and fade is their thing.... SW are "go for the throat" approach...

Mutated Chosen Chaos Marine
|
Regarding loyalists, the Marines Malevolent are the worst. For those that don't know, a group of Orks took near twelve thousand civilians as hostages. In response, the Marines Malevolent ordered an artillery strike, killing five thousand Orks and more than twice that number of noncombatants. He then argued that they didn't deserve to live, as they were weak, and life is the right of the strong.
The Minotaurs are also a brutal Chapter. They were a product of the Cursed Founding, and are renowned for their bloodlust. The Minotaurs destroyed an entire Chapter, the Inceptors. To be clear, the Inceptors weren't traitors. They'd never turned against the Imperium. But in an internal dispute, they got on the Minotaurs' bad side, and the Minotaurs fethed them up. Due to their close ties with the High Lords of Terra, the Minotaurs have been able to get away with a lot of stuff like this.
If we're counting traitors, then the Death Guard Legion would be the worst to fight beside. A lot of their ills are contagious, and they enjoy spreading them. The Death Guard believes that death promotes life; if you have a terminal illness and have nothing left to lose, you're free to live as you please. Without death there is no life, just as without darkness there is no light. Any contact with the Death Guard would be risk. Though they're a valuable force to have under one's command, they come with a huge risk.

I'd also put down a vote for Grey Knights here.
The other Chapters *may* go berserk or abandon you or just not care that their artillery is firing "Danger Close", but just seeing a Grey Knight force take to the field is grounds for summary execution for the vast majority of the Imperium.
There's also the fact that the Grey Knights are a wee bit more specialized in their focus (fluff-wise) than other Marine Chapters. Any situation in which they would show up en masse is one in which you're up to your eyeballs in reality-raping horrors from the Warp. If you need to call the Grey Knights in, stuff has gone horribly, *horribly* wrong.

I actually like the Minotaurs as well, I long ago got tired of the more touchy feely chapters and the conflicting descriptions of them in fluff.
So I may work on a Marines Malevolent / Minotaurs crusade force, a avalance of D-baggery
I think those ywo would work well together...just with plenty of space between them

Lets be honest unless your a marine the Grey Knights are not so much allies and more enemies that happen to be shooting at the same thing you are well pretending to be from the same team and whats worse if you try to defend yourself from them your now a traitor but they are not. Also the Dark Angels I think still win because not only might they ditch but they will kill you or worse for even knowing something about the Fallen.
