Oddly enough, I can't see any mainstream (or even non-mainstream) actors in any 40k roles. I've given it thought every time these threads spring up, and drawn blanks every time. There is just no actor that I can see in the 40k universe at all.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

I could totally picture Patrick Warburton in power armor. His acting has that sort of arrogant, oblivious tone that perfectly fits in with the cartoony 2-dimensionality of space marines.

Seconded, thirded and probably fourthed as well.

He would also make a good Cain I think.

It pains me to say it, but I do find Tom Cruise quite compelling in action films, even if he is a crazy baby eating lizard man. He would be a little short to be a storm trooper though

Also Bruce Campbell as a khornate warrior with a chainsaw grafted on!

For a Sisters Canoness or female Inquisitor you need look no further than Aliens-bald Sigourney Weaver. She might be knocking on a little bit these days but what she might not be able to do in action terms she makes up for in pure authority when she wants to.

Mark Strong would make a fantastic Space Marine. He has a subtleness in his voice and inflection that can give way to a proper roar when he shouts - it's rare to see both in one person. (checks IMDB) ...hey, that's probably why they chose him as the voice of Titus in the game. I'd managed to put his name up before remembering about that. Jason Statham would be another solid bet, though perhaps lacking the imperiousness needed for higher ranks like Captains - he'd make a great Sergeant.

For specific characters - I'd quite like to see Jeremy Irons as Huron Blackheart, and Michael Fassbender as Commander Dante.

And there must be space for Kevin Bacon. No seriously, there has to be, its in his contract!

Sean Pertwee is a shoe-in, as is Brian Blessed as they have already done voice-overs for at least 1 game. Fire warrior I think. David Tennant could also be relied upon to be suitably zany.

I'd like to see Tim Curry as one of the traitor Primarchs. He always does a good "evil character who is obviously going to betray the good characters at some point" role.

Of course I'd also like to see Vin Diesel (the Iron Giant) and Peter Cullen do the Voice Acting for some Dreadnaughts.

Actually that would be awesome but then of course someone would push him in front of a train and Ashton Kutcher would go live in his beach house

Malben

Michael Cera in a Skyline-esque film about the biotransference.

I started off wanting this comment to be sarcastic but I somehow became kind of serious towards the end.

(I know Skyline wasn't good, it's just the closest example I could think of)

Oh, and if we're doing a bit of time traveling, then Rowan Atkinson at the age of 'Blackadder Goes Forth' for Cain. Cain's a copy of him anyway, so it just makes life easy....
