I'm warming up for the infinity competition with a nice eldar guardian from way back. No Idea what my entry is going to be yet but I'm thinking of some Aleph assassin type with a downloaded and backed up mind and a body made out of nanobots.

Yes they are quite hard to come by. Not much more expensive than modern minis but there aren't so many of them left.

Very cool figure, always wanted that one and the others similar to it. I really like your paint scheme on him.

I've got a whole bunch of RT eldar guardians but they scare me slightly - they show up imperfections really easy and need a smooth paintjob so I keep stripping them and starting again! This one is the first I've been happy with. I've got 5 close combat guardians with pistols and 5 with shruken catapults and lasrifles.

Couldn't pin down precisely why, but RT era Guardians, even the plastic ones, really do it for me. Now that I think about it so do Redemptionists. Is it the pointy hats? I'm not southern I swear.

I love a good pointy hat too - They are what distinguishes eldar from all the other sci-fi elder race stereotypes. Also cultists and redemptionists are just fun because they are crazy mad.

Old model gets a lick of paint. This is the imperial scout from the RT era space adventurers line.

Hey Weety, great to see your amazing old school minis in the P&M Showcase... Must get back to the blog; been unconscionably absent of late!

I voted for a couple of entires - hopefully one was yours! Was hard to pick it out, despite your recognisable style!

I probably altered my style a bit for this one. Trying out new things for infinity because I've never painted them b4. I'm totally going to loose the competition but for just a few hours yesterday I was 5th!

All I can say is. Amazing work. It is good to see how well a lot of the older stuff holds up with a pro paint job and some good photography. I got rid of all my RT stuff when I took my 10 year hiatus. A lot of these guys I used to own but never pained as well. Keep it going sir
