Also they use the word 'ret@rded' a lot so while arguing about something racist they are using some rather prejudiced language.

Just came from "Anime North".

I have to admit: happiest convention I have ever been to.

No serious issues with non-asians butchering asion character's looks (I suspect it is all just better use of photoshop in the "scientific" video).

I figure that another culture taking a strong interest in your own should be very flattering.

Anyway, haters gotta hate so great pointing it out but it is better to ignore until they do something silly.

I liked Kendo and really hope to see some more asians strapping on hockey skates!

I don't really watch anime or do cosplay. I do build model anime robots. Is there a term for that? Am I a racist westerner for buying those kits? I'm not using asian glue. I might be denying some asian kid the opportunity to build that model. Since I'm not asian, does the culture divide make it less likely I'll build the model like asians do?

So much soul searching to do... (right after I finish building this model.)

I found it interesting that one of the characters he posted has blue eyes. Other characters in Anime I have seen have strongly western characteristics, such as blonde hair.
