Well, at the point in the development cycle when you'd start hearing rumors about something in 40k, PP would have already announced whatever it was. The concept stuff we're seeing here won't be out until August/September or later for general release (Butcher 3 is getting pre-released at Gencon), and about now is the time you start hearing little bits about what's coming up for GW in August/September.

Rules spoilers will be coming, probably in No Quarter mag or Privateer Insider, but not for a bit yet, I wager.

You mean the rumors that vary in accuracy and how the company tries to quash them by sending C&D's to websites? PP gives honest to god teasers and info before release meaning accurate info of the product. It's also very likely their rules are still in development.

Rules for anything in Vengeance are very Mich done by now, given their two to three year development cycle and the fact that Vengeance is dropping in August.

For you whiny Cryx players complaining about lack of spoilers: Goreshade, Lord of Ruin. That is all.

Also, they're doing High Command demos here and it is epic.

@Laughing Man - Can you see if you can pry the name of the Merc warcaster for Vengeance out of someone there?

Doubtful. Privateer staff is very good at giving non answers. Prying doesn't help, better to just hope that someone will slip up and forget that a model hasn't been released yet.

Just seems to be odd that the other four factions (and the silly sci-fi elves) have had their warcasters previewed - even if just the name - but the Mercs haven't.

Edit: Dammit, just read the rest of the thread. Right, Goreshade3 it is. Don't worry, Mercs will get something in their own sweet time, just revel in the fact you'll have twice the number of Colossals as any other faction.

apparently there are going to be two new silly sci-fi elves. If that answers your question

Yeah, there's been contradictory statements from the past vs Lock and Load for the next Cryx caster. In the past it was specifically said to be a new living human, and a new character we hadn't seen before. At Lock and Load there's been mentions of a mounted Goreshade that works great with the Bane cav.

They had a cardboard profile set out, I think it comes out to roughly the same height as the Tower of Everblight. I'll try to get a picture if they still have it later today.

I think it would be fine with more detail. Right now it looks rather
static and not in a dwarfish good kind of way.

Actually no it wouldn't. I am not a fan of any of it. I don't like the 6 legs at all. I pictured the Khador colossal but shorter and maybe stockier.

Nice, so its an LCG essentially, but obviously the term is taken by FFG. Good to know as it's my preferred method of card game expansion. Now if only the miniature game would become alternate unit activations they'd have me hook, line and sinker.

I kinda like it. I might possibly grab one, convert it up a bit for non WarmaHordes use. Likely swapping the arms out for a couple large cannons of some sort.
