They're charging $20 for it. Who cares what stretch goal it comes in at if at the end of the KS we get everything we would have gotten anyway?

@Breotan

If you can't honestly see why it would be an issue for some people to just basically cut 100k out of the funding toward stretches and inflate the amount of the creation of new models I don't know what to tell you man.

They should make a stretch goal to have all figures made in resin as an option. That'd make me pledge a little bit more. :p

Hello ALL!
What a ride! I have not had a chance to read the past 13 pages yet (but I will).
We're cranking out new images, answering comments, taking phone calls... It's insane!

I'll just try to answer a few quick recurring questions:

→ We are preparing a new image to more clearly show what's already been unlocked (we started out with 19 minis or boxes).
Necro Priestess Nepharya was the latest one, at $200,000.
We'll upload a new stretch goal in a few moments, for $225,000.

→ We've also unlocked a list of free upgrades that apply to all pledge levels.

→ No freebies ulocked so far, but they will be coming.
And for example, you can expect alternate version of Charlie, the Kurganovas' war bulldog (original one shown here).

→ What's the difference between free minis within a pledge, and freebies?
Free minis are the additional minis that are included in pledge levels CAPTAIN BOX and up.
Freebies will be unlocked extras that will be added for free to all pledges from the LIEUTENANT BOX level.
I would put that in the FAQ, except that the FAQ button has disappeared from the Kickstarter page... and their Help box is currently not working either, so I can't ask them to fix it...

→ Will there be a Paypal option? Yes, in a few days, we haven't had a chance to set it up yet.

More soon...

This.

And it's day 1.

Also day 109 (since feb 15).

But still day 1 of launch. All launches have fun quirks.

Youch, just added up the totals and there is a bit of a hole for the heroes based on the pledge.

Troops and Support are covered easily, Support, just thanks to freebies, and troops I have a large excess of $200 to figure out what to do with plus the three free ones.

However heroes I have $200 for, and the total number of heroes currently come to $440, assuming the $15 jet lass if free as it seems to indicate.

If I want them all, going to have a stretch the funds a little further it seems.

I'm still confused at what levels get the additional FREE MINIATURES vs. the FREEBIES.

I would hope that the COMMANDER $230 level includes the FREE MINIATURES that are unlocked, because otherwise the 'sweet spot' for this one is the $345 level?!?

Must admit I finding it all a bit confusing compared to the other Kickstarters I have backed :(

I get that they are way better than they hoped but what are the stretch Goals, freebies etc - I can't see them on the page apart from one at 180,000?

Sounds like LT and Cmdr don't get free minis. Which does make the sweet spot the 350 area. Not as nice as the Bones sweet spot of $100 to be sure, but I've already dropped more on this than on that, and there's just been one addon I had to have so far... It's gonna get spendy.

Again, at the risk of sounding like TFG, how could they not. Seriously.... look at any of a number of KS projects with cool looking miniatures and you can get a decent amount of insight on what to expect.

Honestly, I think the best idea for projects like this, from small publishers, is to be transparent. Have the statment ready for your first post, that says something along the lines of:

"Thanks for helping us fun XXXX project. At this point, we have stretch goals ready though XXXX Dollars. If the project extends past our initial projections on our first day, we will work diligently to update with new stretch goals tomorrow (or the next day, whatever)."

I wonder why the heavy troopers command is unlocked, but not the heavy troopers, I would expect it the other way around.

In any case a troops choice should be costier to unlock than a single hero, it is after all a bigger tooling investment.

At the moment it is just 2 discount levels. On LIEUTENANT you get less heroes for free than on Captain level. All can be added for the 10$ or so, if you want them.

Honestly? Tiredly looking at thousands pages at once.^^ From RH we got the meessage, they started with 19 items and unlocked are 8 and than there was already an update but without making and update. Until now we're all waiting for news but after that blast, I can imagine that it's a little hard to make it so fast, since people are asking questions privately (as Brook did) and just look, it's nearly 850 backers. We're still on day 1 so a bit of patience is needed.

From what I can tell the free mini is you get to pick extras depending on what lvl pledge.

Commander +1 Free Heroin
Captain +2 Free Heroin
Major +1 free support box +1 Free Troop box
General +3 free support box +3 free troop box

the FREEBIES are extra gubbins
extra weapon for "model x"
extra weapon for "model y"
extra head for "model z"

I could be completely wrong but that is the way I interpreted it

I agree. I had enough trouble justifying $300 for Herald of Death on Kingdom Death, and that eventually became one of the "sweet spots" even though the main one was the $100 tier (which was also discounted on Black Friday).

$350 on Raging Heroes is a bit high.

That being said, I won't be participating in this Kickstarter, but I wish them all the best. When the minis come out, I may pick-and-choose what I like best at full retail (or online discounted).

No doubt this Kickstarter will be a success. It's already hit $200k in the period of a few hours, and already has over a month to go. It'll far overshoot the $400k-$500k soft target for most major miniatures Kickstarters to be considered a success. I look forward to buying it when it is available for non-bulk buys.

This is exactly how I interpreted it.

I asked in email why you are forced into X troops and X support instead of just X boxes, he said some boxes will got more then the standard 15$

I'm not sure that is the sweet spot. It depends how you slice it.

If you're in at the $230 spot, you get 6 heroines, 6 troops, 6 support, and the KS exclusive.

If you're in at the $350 mark, you get 10 heroines, 10 troops, 8 support, and the KS exclusive.

In other words, 45% more cash gets you 65% more heroines & troops and 33% more support. IMO, that's kind of a wash. If you can add on additional heroines for the $15/each mark, which presumably they will allow you to do at some point, then the question becomes how many troops do you need vs just tacking on a few more heroines and calling it a day?

In any event, I don't think the $350 level offers a disproportionately better deal then $230.

As for myself, I'm in at $230 but waiting to see how it develops. Kinda weird no freebies have yet been unlocked despite being at well over 1700% of goal, but we'll see.

Truthfully I think they're in a whole other dangerous area now. I've seen a lot of Kickstarters that have actually become victims of their own success because it scaled so much further than the every could have imagined. They have said they've spoken with plastic injection people, and at this point that seems like a pretty reasonable direction to head in, yes? Dreamforge was able to do plastic injection at $205,000..... Which leads to a whole new area of trial, error, and so on.
